I put a big dent in the rear left corner of my 2013 Toyota Corolla bumper. Any idea on the cost to repair?
If it's just a dimple in the rubber cover, a heat gun and pop it back out works well. The covers are pretty cheap, but need paint too.
I’d suggest taking it around to at least 2-3 different body shops to get estimates. They do this for free. Without looking at it, it can be tough to give a good estimate. There are many layers to plastic car bumpers.
Fly around the earth a couple dozen times to go back in time, avoid backing into what ever, save Lois, then fly around the world a couple dozen more times to get it back to its proper rotation
The latter was actually my first thought. Depending on the age and general condition and your preferences as the owner of course, it could just be best to let it be Yes, it will become a rusty mess but that could take years. Priorities and all.
Toyotas are good cars they go forever BUT its never gonna be a fanny magnet so fuck the dent ! What really freaks me out about this post is the word "Bumper" ?? when I was working in America we got in a bit of a bump with the works motor Phoned in to say the Bonnet and wing was Gone the guy said " you talking about a car or a fuckin chicken "
We call it a bumper here too. In fact we consider it a dutch word without any thought 'Windshield' is what we find noticable. Its the front window!
I've a few dings now on my ranger. Thought about fixing them but, it shows character, few war wounds never hurt nobody.
To me it looks trashy. I don't care about what kind of car I drive, but I don't want it to look ratchet.
I dented my car somehow and got it fixed by one of those places that fixes dents instead of replacing the fender. It cost significantly less but I don't remember the cost. They did a fantastic job though. If you ask me, it's best to go with a reputable dent guy though.
