yepp, I saw that on the radar. But we had nothing. One time I thought I heard thunder in the distance, but that were only hallucinations . We reached 30C at 09:30AM this morning.

Ugh it's gonna be 38°c here today. I might melt. Once I finish work in a few more hours the rest of the day will be spent in a river with a cold beer again.

It's 37 C here.
It's so hot it makes me want to cut my hair.

 

It was 40 today, but the heatwave is coming next week.

 

This is North Carolina. It's been hot enough to melt shoes for a month here, and probably will be for another month to six weeks.

 

It was 85, sunny, and humid today (29c). Probably my favorite type of weather.

 

I'm dreading the dog days of august here. Where I work it gets to about 110-115 during august/september. If I go the opposite direction for about 35 minutes it's only about 75-80 degrees lol

 

Where do you live-ish? Like what region.

 

North Los Angeles (san fernando valley area) is where i work. I live right on the border of the san fernando valley and ventura county though.

 

My feet stink cause they are sweating from this heat

Actually, we’ve got the heat here now in the east that the western part of North America had. It's almost 40C (103F) today. Nothing new here except it was so cool and rainy most of June we haven't had a chance to acclimate. We’ve had thunderstorms all day but it hasn't cooled anything off, just made it muggier.

 

So far this summer we haven't had a single day which reached 90 F (normally we'd have around 6 by now)

i don't know why people say nice when they mean hot. there's nothing nice about it. or why hot should be a euphamism for exitement. not that either of those are worth much either.
and if people actually like hot better then comfortable, why are the few places that stay comfortable almost all of the time, too expensive for most people to live?

well it was way to hot for a couple of weeks there, right after i moved, just from one side of town to another, but now this week, every afternoon out of a rediculously hot morning, we get a migically dramatic storm come up, driving rain, even hale. i love this, but i need to get out some time soon and get myself something, a hat or a hoodie or a bumbershoot. my old winter coat is much too heavy and bumified looking, but its the only thing with a hood. i had a hat for the sun, but i ended up leaving and forgetting it in a resteraunt bathroom a couple of weeks ago.

 

It's supposed to be 93f tomorrow in Seattle. It's nice in the mornings and evenings and hot in the afternoons. I'm loving it.
