Bump If You're Baked!

On Sunday I had an an accidental THC overdose.

Went to a friend's place to barbecue some steaks and ribs. When I got there he told me some guys from a dispensary up the street gave his girlfriend some free samples of edibles. Two little pieces of chocolate, an inch square, we assumed they were the normal dose of 5 mg of THC. An hour after eating them while we were cleaning up after chowing down we got concerned about how high we were already. We asked her about the chocolates and she said, "They're 50 mg each. Isn't that how much you normally take?"

I thought that while the stores can sell you as much as 50 mg at a time it had to be in 10 separate pieces of 5 mg, but it seems the law has changed and I wasn't aware of it. They can now sell you 50 mg in one piece.

Soon after we cleaned up I told them I need to head home now before I get too stoned to drive. Once I got home I wound up lying in bed for an hour and a half, staring up at the ceiling, barely moving except when I needed to take a drink from a water bottle on my night stand, my mouth kept drying up as if I was in the desert.

Called my buddy later, he had also gotten the spins and had to lie down. I made damn sure he educate his girlfriend about what a normal dose is. Anyway I spent yesterday groggy and recuperating. Today I feel good, ate a home made pot brownie which is more my normal level. Ah well, live and learn.
