Yes and you can add to the spinach whatever you have on hand and also do with cheese etc ...I usually presoak the spinach in water and a little kosher salt and then rinse so not to salty ...this Eliminates some of the moisture the spinach may cause while baking and also takes away any impurities of the spinach ..
