Haha....why did my post make you wonder that? :)

Yea, I stay at home with my son and soon it'll be my daughter too in four more months. I teach five flute lessons at home a week to earn a bit of money and still get to be home with him(them soon). Will probably add a few flute students when they get referred to me but don't plan on working outside the house til they are in school. (for one, like being home w him/them....and for 2-with the cost of daycare and all... just not super financially motivated to work outside here either).

I like hearing how you get to spend time with your children.
A lot of people ask me if I'm having children and well, despite the obvious sexuality not letting that happen I'm not too sure if I really want them anyway and it's actually quite embarrassing to admit that to other people who have children. They appear so dirty to me about it.

So I don't want children right now, big Woop, we cannot conceive anyway and we will not conceive because that's just how we are. We aren't "equality" queer fruits at all, we acknowledge our lifestyle prevents certain thing, children, marriage etc. we aren't offended by not having.

But I am offended and embarrassed when I am belittled for not wanting children. I don't work much and I can afford to stay home and not need a job, I have the perfect lifestyle to raise a child. It's sad when parents spend so much money on child care etc. and they have to go to work to pay a mortgage and ridiculous child care costs and they don't even really get to spend much time with their children. I find that sad =[

Yea, I would never belittle someone for not wanting to have kids. I find that rather rude and annoying when some people do that. Before I had my first kid- I was 30 years old when I had him, ....well, we had wanted kids before and had some issues w getting pregnant... I remember some people actually telling me that because my husband and I have not had any kids together yet that must mean our relationship is not good and is not supposed to be together or otherwise we would have had kids. People, in general, can just say the most messed up things that are just totally out there and not their business anyways.

I am really glad I have the opportunity to stay at home when mine are young. I know not everyone can do that. I also think it's sad when some kids, well, may have a whole lot of nice stuff but if their parents are both working ALL the time and not spending time with them. Is it really worth it? Yea, some people gotta work and I def don't blame them for that. For me personally though I'm glad to be here. My mom was just asking me last week if I was planning on putting Cason in pre-school this coming Sept. and she said she was wondering because "it would give him independence and it would give me a chance to have some time away from him and have time alone with the baby"... that really offended me actually for a couple diff reasons. First of all I told her, no, we decided to save preschool til he is 4, that way he gets one year of it before school... which will benefit him socially but that academically, this child is doing MOST academic things at the level of a 5 year old, 6 year old, even 7 year old and I do not feel the extra academic year is needed for him.
Anyways, I told her no because why would I start Case in preschool pretty much RIGHT when the baby arrives? It would seem we are trading him in and be too much stress but that I already talked to him and he wants to stay here now w me and baby and start when he's 4. Also, I'm not in a huge rush to get "time away from him" as he'll grow up and be outta the house all the time soon enough. And that as for him "gaining some independence" I told her how I'm currently taking him to the parks almost every day and he has made friends ON HIS OWN with some boys that are 5 years old and how they play tag and Case burns off so much energy and has so much fun that I feel he's doing fine socially now too...

Arrgh, idk, my mom ended up telling me it seems I know what I'm doing and she thinks I'm right but I still sometimes just sense with people... a tendency to ... judge the way other people do things and give unneeded or wanted input. I think people do it with people who don't want kids. I feel do it with people who stay home with their kids. I feel people do it with moms who go to work when their kids are young. I feel people do it about people's choice over whether to homeschool their kids. It's annoying no matter which direction it's coming from.
