I meant to read it 20 years ago :blush5: ...so embarrassing.

Not sure if I saw the movie, but I'll look into it after the book.

I was looking through my library earlier. I have 33 'Discworld' books - that surprised me. I'd no idea it was that many.
Plus several books which Terry Pratchett co-authored. Some are non-fiction;science,physics,etc.
    Ok-carry on chaps....

Stephen King writes some good sex scenes. 'Salems Lot must appeal to the vampire lovers.

There is a scene in which our hero is bitten by a female vampire and while she's sucking his blood he has a hard-on

Stephen King once described vampirism as the ultimate zip-less fuck

I remember that scene. Read that book in middle school. Man, I used to love King and have read so many of his books. There's a really fucked up sex scene in the Stand. Ever read that one?

I just looked to my right,at the bookshelves...at a glance I have 17 Stephen King books,so there'll be more. [my bookshelves are a bit...erm...'bookish'. Stuff piled on stuff]
But one of his best reads was written as Richard Bachman-'The Long Walk'.
Anyone else read it? A bit unsettling,as it's set in a conservative future America that seems oh-so-possible,but at the time was merely a novelist's idea of 'what if it goes wrong?'
King has a way of writing insightful stuff that remains mindful years after it's written.

Remember that scene where the Flagg (the antichrist figure) repeatedly rapes Nadine and it feels so good and so terrible/evil that she goes loses her mind? So fucked up.
