been wondering pensfan is your username sports related?

 

the pens are short for the penguins a hockey team based in the city of pittsburgh. 13 had nothing to do with any sports. although that was my jersey number last year in my local league. would have been this year also but it was already taken.

Apparently, some kind of stomach virus or bug is what I have....am a little better today, and will just stay with liquids for now, as I am afraid of anything too solid....maybe a banana or two,though....will see how it goes later with this virus.....

 

Speaking of feet.....Mine have been afflicted for the second time with lichen planus....that is a rash that is not contagious and breaks out in blisters and red spots. I also have it on my hands and arms right now, as well...It itches and the blisters can burn badly. The first time i had this about 6 years ago, I could not walk at all....and this time is much milder than the first.
They do not know what causes this. I get nauseous with the medication prescribed to me to make it go away faster, so cannot take it, and I have been too lazy to use the cream for it.....

Isn't this all interesting for randomness.....lol

 

since I am constantly doing things and touching my animals....the cream to me is not a good idea....as that would get on things and them.....so I just wait for this affliction to go away.

Fighting to stay positive here...It is my brother's birthday today, and I left a message on his answering machine yesterday....Wrote him an email earlier asking what time would be a good time to call him.....nothing.....and a sick sinking feeling in my stomach...I want to cry.

 

Well, I did cry and then he did call....

 

The dog is shedding, the bird is molting and the Vac is getting a work out.

 

The guy i work with says the local station must have a black dj on tuesdays

 

It sucks to walk all the way down to the basement to put ur clothes in the dryer and then realize u forgot the dryer sheets....then I gotta walk all the way back up to the 5th floor to get the sheets..jeez I think by the time these clothes are done I'll have done about 25 stories worth of stairs

Oh and I ALMOST forgot to take the hangers now...NO!

 

When i was in an apartment i was two doors down from the laundrymat which is perfect. One door down you would have to listen to those machines all day.

 

I was happy, as it was raining and I thought...YAY!.... a day off from jogging the dogs, which I need, but now the rain has stopped and sun is in full force. If I don't jog when it is nice with the dogs, it leaves me feeling guilty, so SHIT! LOL

Raining all day here but Grace still has to go out for walks, at least three.

It is clouding up again here, so it may rain again before I usually leave....hoping.....

 

Every rainy day I see tons of discarded umbrellas in trash cans...they must have had shitty umbrellas, and the umbrella salesmen quick off the mark to sell u the same shitty umbrella for a buck or two...I have two of those I think..one of them the button fell out and now u have to stick a key or something in the hole to get it to open up.

 

Invest in a good umbrella and you won't have to worry about it after only using it a couple of times.
Paying extra for something saves in the long run.
