Wow, what a surreal night. I've been listening to them since I was 18 or 19 and just saw them live the first time. And we tripped out which made it that much better. Fucking amazing night.

Can't find any videos up yet but I'm sure there will be. I saw at least 3 people with DSLR cams. Anyone here into built to spill?

built to spill is my favorite band too. i'm actually listening to Velvet Waltz as i came across this thread haha. i only started listening to them like 5 years ago - i didn't know of them until then.

i've seen them once before (for free!) in buffalo ny. and i have tickets to go see them in ithaca on nov. 9th. i'm pretty pumped and i plan on taking a couple hits of acid for that show. built to spill is absolutely perfect music for tripping i think. i've spent many trips listening to built to spill - some of my favorite were with my brother camping on the sand next to the river...blaring built to spill from a boombox til the sun starts to come up.

Nice man! Can't beat a free show, this one was $25 and was in Jax Beach, FL at a venue with absolutely outstanding harmonics. It was just so awesome. And hawaiian cubes, great time. I don't trip often and have always had a good time but this was definitely one of the best times, if not the best. That camping trip sounds awesome too, glad to hear of a fellow fan of built to spill. Lots of memories attached to that music.
