I was just wondering. Do they have buffet-style restaurants in the UK? They're sometimes called smorgasbord. And we've always had them where I live. They're very popular with the older crowd. Take what you want, but eat what you take, they say. But I've never heard of someone getting in trouble for that. OTOH, taking food from the premises is technically stealing, and they don't tolerate that. Plus I've noticed some full figured people tend to make pigs out of themselves there. But it is their right. Do you have them in the UK? And name a couple. I'm not planning on going there. But I'd still be interested in knowing.
We do have them, they just aren't that common in the UK.....in Hull,/England we have a predominantly chinese buffet type restaurant called 'Wings'. I would imagine in much bigger cities like London and Manchester etc their are probably far more buffet style eateries.
