I totally forgot about the Buddha's palm!

In reality, my ears are only half that long. But of course, being who I am, I don't resent the misrepresentation . . . very much.

 

Also, the slight bulge between my upper lip and nose suggests the presence of an upper denture plate. However, I assure you that that, too, is a misrepresentation by the artist. I have won several fights using nothing more than my teeth! So, if that bulge was truly the result of a dental appliance of some sort, I would have required a denture adhesive with nothing less than the holding power of Super Glue in order to win a fight with them. And obviously that would cause more problems than it would solve. But again, being who I am, and not given to prideful thoughts, I don't resent the artist's misrepresentation . . . very much.

Okay, I have returned from the store from which I have purchased some sunscreen. My personal opinion is that it tastes bad--very bad. I had only a teaspoonful, but so far, nothing has proven effective in removing the taste from my mouth. About the only thing I have yet to try is gasoline, and though I know better, I am seriously considering it. I truly regret having entered this thread, as I am now overcome by a strong emotion that I cannot shake. From what I have read about emotions, I believe it is anger. And oddly enough, I feel justified. I have a suspicion that thedope knew full well how badly sunscreen tastes, and that his neglect to warn me was deliberate.

As crazy as it may sound, my advice to anyone when it comes to this fu--damned stuff called sunscreen is that it would be better to rub it on your skin and hope you can absorb enough of it to gain the nutritional benefits it has to offer because I'm not exaggerating one bit when I say that it tastes very bad. Ridiculously bad!

 

I asked what you thought of sunscreen, not how it tastes. I would have suggested a middle road. Sunscreen is for topical application.
You go too far in ingesting it and could have left the shade of that damned tree and maybe got out more without suffering the effect of sun blistered skin. So far your treatment of sunscreen has only made your blood boil and cause you to achieve an emotional attachment. If you hadn't already escaped the cycle of death and rebirth I would say better luck next time.

 

My thoughts on matters are generally derived from my experience of said matters, and thus far, concerning the matter of sunscreen, I think it tastes bad. Topical application you say? Thank you. However, I have no desire to absorb such elements, as I have no problem with the sun blistering my skin.

Tell me more about this tree you speak of. Perhaps that will enlighten me as to why you would curse it.

EDIT: By the way, the gasoline worked. But now I am contemplating using the sunscreen to rid myself of the taste of gasoline. A vicious circle if ever there was one. And now I think I shall retire for awhile as I am not feeling well, particularly in the stomach area. A friend has advised me to use Pepto Bismol for the stomach pain, and so I have rubbed a generous amount onto my abdomen and will now rest and wait for results.
