It was about 4yrs ago, so no I don't remember. I don't normally drink tea very often and I just remember really liking the taste and texture.
Yes! There are a few places here that sell it. Mostly on strips w entertainment and food and parts of town I like to call 'yuppyville' lol. The Bubble Tea spots here serve giant portions of Chinese (fast) food too. I even make milk tea at home now since I tried it. Nothing better than an English Breakfast tea w a bit of Italian Sweet Cream. Add honey every now n then, but it's a little harsh on the throat and sometimes horribly sweet. My favorite is probably lavender tea. I don't remember the first type of bubble tea I had. Might have been blueberry vanilla or something... That stuff is tasty tho. Light on the boba for me tho. I can only eat about 10 of those things. After that, it's just a waste of good tea I could have been drinking lol.
I haven't had bubble tea since high school. Toro was my favorite flavor. I remember the pearls made fucking AMAZING spit balls.
Hah! I'll have to test that idea next time I go! Is toro the purple stuff? Whatever the purple stuff was, that was good lol. I just remember it had some weird short name...
