yea, I've talked about that song (usually with deviate) numerous times on here. Pretty much because I once saw a hat at Spencer's that said "America! Fuck yeah!" and it cracked me up. To the point where I really, really wanted to buy it. I found the humor right up my alley, even though I didn't know where the saying came from. I would have bought it except I couldn't figure out where a mother in her 30's would wear it..kept thinking "too bad I'm not a frat boy or some college kid because then I could so pull that off"- but yeah, that's when I'd heard about that song. (I do remember it from way back but had forgotten). Funny stuff, that.

 

My contact has been nill and I have no bad feelings toward them. I just found the accent to be different and first thing came to mind was Austin powers. I know they exaggerated the movies and they are just that, A try at humor in a movie.

Center of attention, I know of people who are attention whores and have to be in 'the mix' all the time. But I wonder how that does look from outside the box when you say most are like that.

I can see it, But I know it wouldn't be me unless certain issues arose. Im a humorous person and play jokes all the time, But don't do it for 'attention', Just fun.

I think there are rude and polite people from all over the world. I recently read an article written by an Irish that had traveled extensively in America and he thought Americans were way too friendly. I've been told by an Eastern European that Americans are overly polite and use words like "please" and "thank you" way too much, which I thought was kind of weird.

and I've met some really rude people from various cultures. Rudeness is an epidemic.

 

Well, obviously the accent is going to be different.
The first accent you thought of was absolutely terrible.

I do not and never have put the AP movies and 'real life' brits in the same category. It was way overboard and a try if you're market for humor.
If you were to meet a person tomorrow that's American and he says howdy, You might think redneck and obviously a long way from home. I don't laugh out loud, Its the inner chuckle when it hits a funny nerve.


I stay out of there, Im pretty sure just reading something might get me banned. But im open to all angles and sides if there is some fact based info and its not a 'shoot from the hip' out to get us crap. They are out to get us ALL and always have been, Ill leave it at that.

Exactly. If I saw a person in harm, I don't look away, Im going to end it. The 'mind you're own' only goes so far. Only bad thing is, If I helped anyone that was not all one color, Im now a racist.
