Is that so? Yet the warmongers are ever ready to blame every failure of this administration on the Clinton administration even though the problems came about by policy choices of the current one. So what is Bush ultimately responsible for as President and CiC, especially when launching a war against the will of the UN and the preponderance of the international community? If he'd respected international law, we wouldnt have those pictures now would we?
The UN is a useless entity that provides nothing. It is in no way a symbol of authority, which is what it is supposed to be. The UN should be dismantled.
The reason the UN lacks authority is because big strong countries like us ignore it when we don't agree with it. If you want the UN to have authority, then we have to adhere to it. Where else would the authority come from?
Bush is partly responsible. But none of those people were forced to serve either, they volunteered themselves. When you volunteer for the military, you are basically volunteering to become a Guinea Pig for the all the rich white men whose power you're fighting to build and protect. It doesn't matter what you believe, when you join the military you're putting your life in the hands of the government, who could care less whether you live or die.
We ignore the UN because the it isn't intersted in doing anything. Never making any changes or taking any actions except on the rare occasion when a Hitler-type (like Melosevic) comes along, and even then it's NATO and the US, not the UN, that takes action.
