Of course you can we owe nothing ! Will we get a rebate of all the money we have put into it so far? Why do we need a deal with people only interested in protecting themselves ? ask Italy about that one or Greece

Two members of my family fell out and won't speak because of Brexit. How's that?

I don't have a horse in this race. But clearly you need to make deals with your largest trading partner. By a factor of 5.

May: What do the people of Britian want?

    Britain: BREXIT!

May: (2 years later) How about we don't, and say we did?

    Mally

I’m not sure what you mean?

At the moment I believe we have a trade agreement with the US through been a part of the EU if we left we would not have a trade agreement with the US and would need to negotiate one.

Do you mean going to WTO rules?

Can I ask why you voted to leave?

    How’s that what?

What has that got to do with it – why does that mean you can’t think about it can’t have an opinion?

I mean are you saying all your family is on Hipforums?

    Again this is incredibly simplistic

Many people voted for Brexit because they were lied to they were promised it would be easy and have no down sides on ups, one of the funniest things was neoliberals who wish to dismantle the ‘socialist’ National Health Services trying to get people to vote for Brexit by saying it would expand the NHS.

I’ve met many others that voted leave as a protest vote without realise what it meant (and now deeply regret doing so).

I’ve met people that voted leave to stop Muslims and brown people coming into the UK without realising that such people come from outside the EU and that leaving the EU will probably result with even more of them coming the UK.

I could go on and on but I think this is enough to show these simple comments don’t stand up well to scrutiny.

Excuse me for being brutal but I just want it over and I don't really care anymore. I get immense care fatigue over all these pressing issues. I could spend all of my energy thinking on them and go under myself. I'm just trying to create a future for myself where I have a home, start working again after being ill, and all the rest of it. This is my opinion which I am allowed to express.

LOL you didn’t care enough to vote or even think about the subject so sorry mate but what the fuck are you going on about?

And all those things, like employment and the NHS are likely to be adversely effected by this Brexit and multiply so if we crash out.

The brexiteers lied and lied - I don't think anyone can now seriously challenge that.

No new cash for the NHS, no reduction in immigration, just coming in from outside the EU, and as I learned as a child, we have been making our own laws since at least the time of Alfred the Great. If this deal goes through, we will be bound by EU law over which we will have absolutely no say.

Alan Sugar, not a man I particularly like, recently said Johnson and Gove should be locked up for fraud, as a busniness person would be if they proceeded to sell a product based on un-truths. All I have to add to Sugar's words would be throw away the key.

Unfortunately, there's a mentality that won't or can't admit they've been made monkeys out of by lying politicians.

As I said before it could be far worse, Trump can be removed in 2 years (or shudder 6) Brexit will have a generational effect and it will be years before the EU would let us back in even if we begged and we wouldn’t get the sweet deal and opt outs that we have right now.

I was not a fan of Thatcher but the right wingers calling for Brexit claim to be followers of her or at least the neoliberal ideas she espoused. Many think leaving the EU will be the first step in the creation of a neo-liberal utopia, they are inflicted with madness of their ideology.

The May withdrawal agreement has been accepted by the EU

However most commentators see this agreement as a dead man walking which will be executed by Parliament when it gets to vote on it (although May will be doing her best to get it passed)

Basically most people hate the agreement.

The hard-line Brexiteers, see it as an impediment to them setting up their neoliberal utopia on English soil

Moderate Brexiteers think it a hard sell to all those that were lied to and thought they could have a cake and also eat it. What do they tell all those people that voted for cake when all you can give them a rusting tin of baked beans?

And for all those that wanted to stay in the EU, well it was what they were warning about all along a fudge that will cause a lot of pain for absolutely no gain.

Now Trump has come out and seems to be attacking the May withdrawal deal

Brexit: Trump says May's Brexit plan could hurt UK-US trade deal
Trump: Brexit plan threatens US-UK trade

    Four months to go
