See now this pisses me off! Watching the BBC news the other night, there is an increased amount of race, hate crimes, they showed a clip of such an assault on a train!

Now call me stupid if you want, but on the it news, the reporter is talking to some top copper at a police station, who says, there is no increased reports of race hate crimes to them! Who do you believe!

Also the video the BBC played, is years old, and on YouTube, I wish people would stop scare mongering!

It's happened, get over it, Brexit is here to stay!

The media and news is quoted for different reasons. One of the reasons people quoted them in this thread was to point out that some of the arguments used in the media for voting out were false and misleading.

Looks like we will have either Theresa May or Michael Gove as our next Prime Minister.

Both are on the hard right of the Tory party. It's not looking good.

 

Like I posted before, the choice there is like the choice of being whipped or beaten with a sick, but I'd like to see Gove fail.

EU regulations have pretty much wiped out small and medium cap companies inside Britain.

All bureaucracy previously handled by the EU will know go to British government employees.

You buy most of your fossil fuels from non EU countries

The gap in variations between the value of the euro across member states vs the variations in pension, tax and welfare rules is what caused the Eurozone crisis in the first place, you are now free to eliminate that.


For these reasons, you will be better off.

All the political squabbling is irrelevant compared to what makes the world go around : money .

I think virtue signaling is when you do something to make yourself look moral in terms of identity politics, like how establishments put up Turkish flags after the recent attack only to put them on Facebook.

 

I don't see many people who bash England. The dislike and occasional bashing seems targeted appropriately: at the dubious arguments for leaving the EU and the people/organisations who brought those forth. And I guess also the policies that mostly serve the already wealthy and powerful.
