You know what i never understood... How does being drunk make you do stupid shit? Like those drunk people that post dumb shit on facebook then wake up the next morning and forget all about it, or call their friends and make an ass of themselves... etc.. I don't get how that's possible.

I don't drink, but whenever i'm extremely high, either from weed or psychedelics, i've never had the urge do anything of the sort, regardless of how high i am, i always know that i'm high, and there's always this part of my mind that's still completely rational and sober in a sense.

Which makes me even more confused... Bath Salts, how the fuck would that make you eat a person?! Getting drunk and making a stupid phone call is one thing... but getting high and eating a persons face off...?! I know this is old news now, but i just came across some person mentioning it on another thread just now, and i still don't get how that's possible... Can a drug seriously do that? or was this guy just mentally insane to begin with? Because i've tripped pretty hard before... and i've never had that feeling of not being in control of my own actions...

I never really understood some of the dumb shit people have done on alcohol.. the 3 i never understood was pissing.. shitting.. or puking in your bed or all over yourself.. No matter how tanked.. and I've been on a few good benders in my time... have never ever pissed myself.. shit myself.. or puke in my bed after drinking.. do these people just go "ugh.. well i guess im pissing myself ahahahaha"

the whole bath salts issue.. well there is little to no research on these "research chemicals".. the brain works in mysterious ways.. certain people just shouldn't do drugs.. hence why they are illegal.. and when people who shouldn't do drugs find legal ways to do so.. strange and/or bad things will happen.. though I never thought myself to be a wolf or zombie any of the times i did 2C-x or mephadrone

I'm so depressed right now lol... I was so excited last night to have gotten my first car... but it just hit me, there's almost 400k on it?! Whyy, whyy did i let my mom go pick up the car, i just knew she wouldn't ask any questions about it before buying it... and now i owe her all this money...

400k... that is an insane amount, i'm surprised it's even running now! I'll be lucky if it even lasts a month... fmlfmlfml

my first car had like a little less then 200,000 and was falling aprt lol so i sold it than like a month later it bit the dust.

 

ohmygawd. The more i read the worse this gets, according to people on the interwebs... cars tend to die within 200k-300k... and 400k is thought to be extremely high, an old lady even made the news for having a car with 500k...



I don't even know if i want to bother fixing the windshield for another 200$... but i can't even drive it until i do... do i even bother? i would happily give this car away for 500$ right now lol, only half the price i got it for

Yeah that's a lot of miles. But if the engine is good like your mechanic said, it can easily hit 480,000 km (I've known cars with 640k km on them)

Just don't stomp on the gas too much, that sort of stress tends to make engines unhappy.

Don't worry too much man, 1,000 for a used car with a lot of miles is pretty common in this market. EVERYONE is looking for a cheap Honda that can get them 32 mpg and in which you can replace most parts for under 300 bucks.

Hondas are like gokarts - you just bought yourself an intro to car mechanics, cuz a lot of the repairs you are likely to run in to can be done by yourself.

Weren't you debating on what you wanted to do with your life? Who knows, maybe you want to be a mechanic?

and dude - you shelled out $400 for that car, and another $200 to fix your windshield. even if it only lasts you until winter, you'll get your money's worth. it's a little car and probably won't cost you much in gas or anything. just scrap it when something breaks that costs more than $100-200 to fix and get something better. or if you're in university you probably won't need a car anyway.
