Bread makers

yes she does,,an tis the season for just such vittles..

all the veggies are coming in so everythings garden fresh..

 

and its probably much much cooler back there too huh?

 

mmm...I feel like making bread now...
I like bread makers for dessert breads, but for traditional breads they just don't give loaves that chewy artisian like crust, that making them from scratch does.
I have a kitchen aid mixer and if I am in a hurry I use the dough hook to do the initial mixing and kneeding for me. Way better than a bread machine and you can still leave the house when it is rising.
They are a bit more expensive than a bread machine though...the artisians start at 300 and go upwards to 600+, but man they are worth it. My mom got us ours for Christmas. Also, the color choices are just so awesome.

this week is supossed to outstanding!!

mid 50's for lows and mid to upper 70's for highs with relatively low humidity for here..(30 to 40 % )

 

Now I know I am really jealous fresh homemade bread, fresh veggies and cool weather..........damn!

sounds like. Here in cali (good ol bakersfield) my car says its 103 out, i would guess the humidity is high as all of the smoke from the No. Cal fires are settling in down here. the air quality i think is like 190 or so maybe a little less. life is not good here.

 

We are moving to Leemore next year. We will practically be neighbors

I'll prob be moving in July 09 and Andy will come down in August 09. I may be down in May or June if we decide to buy a house though.

I have been kinda bummed this week. Usually at this time we are in Reno for ten days for the volleyball tournament. I really miss it. I love that place.

 

really? I live half an hour from it and can't stand it. I thought it was cool when I would come visit Andy, but living here, I realize how many prostitutes and hard drugs there are.

 

Sorry, my response was rude. I just hate Nevada sometimes. I feel in the dumps too. I am going to ask my doctor fro a couple of xanax.

 

Maybe its because I dont live near there and thats why I like it.

We would be down at the convention center most of the day and some of the nights. We always stayed at Circus Circus so the girls would have something to do when they were finished playing. Hell, I was happy there was a Starbucks right down the road.

I didnt really notice the prostitutes much. We were there during a couple of the Beerfests which were a little scary with all the drunks walking around and shit.
