Boyfriend says toys = cheating

If u were letting some other guy use the toys on u then that would be cheating but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Kinda sounds like he just wants to start shit cuz he knows this.

I feel like this is something u see from young dudes...I was jealous as a younger cat, but soon got over my jealousy, however I only got over it aaafter me and this girl broke up. at that point I realized how dumb I was and dropped jealousy all together...to be honest if u stay with him you'll eventually cheat because people want what they can't have, if u don't have the freedom to use a vibrator you will eventually rebel, either by breaking up, or cheating

 

I have known several men who thought that a woman using toys (inserted) was cheating.

The first time I heard it was from a male friend, I actually laughed because I thought he had to be kidding. He wasn't. So, OP good luck getting your boyfriend to understand that using a toy in no way suggests that he isn't enough for you. You could try to explain that a toy is simply a means to an end. A toy gets your from point A to point B faster, but is not necessarily better. If you have problems reaching orgasm with him, he is unlikely to not have hurt feelings no matter what you say. If he feels like he cannot please you, but plastic can...yeah, it steps on his manhood hard (and perhaps you need to understand that). You could tell him it takes you longer with toys, or that you think about him while using them, or whatever you think might soothe his ego a bit. Well toys don't have faces, etc.--- you know what I mean though I hope. When someone watches porn they are seeing someone(s) else, while with a toy.... if there is no porn watched anyways... then it's really no different than a female getting herself off by any other means.

 

Considering my husband allows me to have sex with other men, me using toys is not an issue. Even if when we were monogamous, he was all for toys. Sounds like OP's bf has an ego issue that needs addressed.

 

I know some people in this thread have said that they heard what the OP mentioned before.....but I have honestly never run into a guy... either someone I was in a relationship with, or any guy friend just mentioning it to me, or whatever.... have run into NO ONE before who said anything even vaguely resembling the statement that sex toys equate to cheating.

Well it depends on situation and of course on person.
Some man are fine with toys some are not.
You see,getting women off is hard.
Hollywood movies show ppl that all girls love sex and get off every time but reality is very different.
It takes a lot of work and comunication to know and please your partner and give O.
Women get off trough clitoral stimulation,it can be either oral,fingering or sex toys.
And when it comes to sex toys there is zero competition in this area.
To make things more easier just try to reverse the situation.

If not, he might he be dealing with a definition of sex that anything pleasurable inside the vagina is sex and (therefore) if it isn't his penis, it's cheating.

She probably meant- if you were spending a lot of time, effort, money, etc in the whole thing...that you were cheating on her in a way that's kinda emotional- taking yourself, your time and attention that could be going towards your relationship and putting it on something else that you were treating as more important.
