Boycott the news!

    Maybe we should all stop watching the news... I wonder what would happen. To me CNN. Fox News, MSNBC are all extremely annoying.:sunny:

    only watch new from other country's to find out whats going on here,and some internet news,but quit watching US new long ago,

    you should make your own news and present it to your cat. Morning and Evening editions, naturally.

    Today in the news: you shit in a box and would likely consume my eyeballs should I ever die at home, being the creature of no real loyalty that you are.

    I always thought watching the News isn't the problem - It is believing it which causes concern :)

    I agree with you Billyx1120. I watch it every once in a while to see what they're putting out there. THe problem is a lot of people just believe everything they put out there because... "it was on the news".

    If everyone on this forum stopped watching the news or at least question it.. and try to influence their friends and family to do so that could make an impact.

    I already have. I've found theres much better sources for news than companies like NBC, Fox, Associated Press, etc.
    Also, fuck Clear Channel. Doesn't exactly fit into this topic but i though Clear Channel was worth mentioning.

    Many people have told me that the whole US media is one big propaganda machine. How about getting you news from the (Australian) ABC? www.abc.net.au

    Generally speaking being a journalist is not an honorable occupation but it can be.The same applies to a police detective.

    It's not news anymore. It's entertainment. Meta Corporations bought the news. Any real news that damages profits will not be aired. Ask the whistle blowers flipping burgars now. :guitarist:
