    mmmmm.... you might want to make that herbal tea

    if you are thinking about something that you think is important, maybe you could just write it down so you can pick up on it later

    willfully clearing your mind might help (i.e., meditating).

    the book "Curing Insomnia Naturally with Chinese Medicine" might help.

    acupressure self-massage might be something that you would like to learn

    hot milk might be worth trying. also a banana or an apple.

    Thanks for your input Faelixx.But it's not MY anger that I'm worried about.It's the general pervading sense of violence that I feel around me...Which can then in turn start to wind ME up and get me a little pissed off.I'm generally a chill peace loving person.

    ^ I understand about that. If you live in an urban area, there's just a certain amount of chaos that is unavoidable and not really healthy for anyone. It's also that you seem to be the sensitive artist type.

    If you can, it's good to live in a place where you have faith in the humanity of the people around you. That's not always easy to find, though.

    Watch something soothing, like The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross. I always found that show calming.

    Oh yeah.I love that show.They used to show it really early in the morning here.That's a good tip.Cheers.Must be on youtube I imagine?

    Great! I'm sure there's plenty of videos on YouTube or you can probably download them somewhere. But I use to watch him every Wednesday and I used to fall asleep to it lol

    Avoid stimulation from things like TV, computers and anything that gives off light. It will mess with your natural sleep patterns.

    Right now I have psychomotor agitation. (I've had a very stimulating week).If I turn everything off and try and lay down in the dark...Well it's not gonna work.I just have to see the night through for the duration.I hope for a nice sunrise.Thanks guys.I don't usually post "help me" threads but you've all been really nice.I hope you all have a good weekend.
