Swami Lakshmanjoo has a translation of the Vijnana Bhairava that offers hundreds of different methods of meditation. The thing about meditation is that it can not be gained by reading- they are absolute opposites in fact.

Mediation seeks to empty the mind and flow into your being, whilst books force one to focus on an external that is seperate from themselves so as to be able to think, understand and extract information.

If you dont want to spend money go to www.mahayoga.org and have a look around that site.
