i said that in response to juggalo's (i believe) statement that it's different when britney or christina flaunt themselves, because they're doing it for money, ie. "money whores". i was replying that there are many kinds of whores, and yes, i believe that in this day and age men and women both seem to think that the appropriate method for a woman to take to make a good impression and gain positive attention is to do the same, for money or not.
i am not attacking any of the girls in this forum, but i am questioning the seemingly common mindset behind the actions.

 

absolutely, and so i would never encourage a ban on nudity, especially not in these free speech forums. there is unquestionable beauty in the human form, and much art has come of it.

whether she is judging or not........just as it is their option to show themselves, it is her option to have an opinion. shes just giving an opinion, no need to try to turn it around on her. so you are a man and like to see tits and ass. ok. most men do. most people do. her observation is that it is sad that society has put such marketing behind a freaking naked woman. it doesnt say she is insecure or judging. sheesh. read the words, dont judge the judger while you are judging yourself

and by the way...i didnt participate cause its not for me. my body is for my most intimate partners and that isnt an insecurity, its a preference.

what hte difference between flashing pretty boobs and flashing a pretty face? would you go onto the members photo's forum and deride users for showing their face because you think its just for attention. i mean, showing your face...thats just pitiful. we should like you for your posts not what you look like, right? i mena, in some cultures, seeing anymore than the eyes in public is compeltley inappropriate....and an exposed ankle by god, what kind of moraless whore would show an ankle.

if you're so concerned with women being objectified then what better way than to flaunt it as much as possible? it looses its stigmatism of always being hidden and being a dirty sexual part of the body. why not be open with what ya got?

Showing off your nude human body is not degrading in any way shape or form. Anyone who even thinks to link degradation to nudity is just wrong.


A healthy attitude to nudity is what these threads convey. Nudity is beautiful, fun and sensual. Those are all positive things. So where does the degradation part come in? Now some of the comments could be degrading, but that should not be a reflection on the person who is nude, but on the person who posted the comment.

The threads are also not gender specific, so it is both genders posting nudity, not just one, which also eliminates anyform of degradation like if it was just one-sided involving just females or just males.

nothing wrong with being an attention whore. wanting some approval for your body and your looks is very human and natural and should never be condemned. you also have to have a certain amount of ego to put yourself up like that, you alread y have to believe that you're something worth putting up there. that takes guts, and in this world where too many say nasty things like "you're not attractive" or "you need to lose weight," it takes a lot of guts. if someone thinks they're beautiful, and wish for outside confirmation, just give it to them, for fuck's sake. it's not like it lessens you to complement or flatter, and it gave someone else a nice little thrill.

I meant what I said, get over yourselves. If you don't like it, don't participate. If you don't wanna see it, don't go into the thread. Its not that serious. I could give a good fuck of the pics were "tasteful" or "artistic", it was a damn online flash. The equivalent to mooning your friends. The fact that you chose (that is your right) to create a thread about how disturbing it was implies to me that you are wound entirely to tight. Relax, take it for what it was and don't try to make it into something else.
