Hi, I just bought a seed for a bonzai tree and I am wondering how much water it needs.
    Any thoughts and information?

lots of variable there, wat kind is it.most tree seeds need to be cold stratisfied then germanated, cant just put em in the dirt.i have bonsais from seed in my collection.heres how i did it and ive tried sevral metnods but this works best for me.during late fall or early winter, put seeds in a baggie with moist vermiculite (moist not wet)put in a dark place in your fridge for 60-90 days.(this is caled cold stafication, simulates winter wich starts the chemical reaction in the nuclius of the seed that couses germanation.after cold strafication take seed out and put ity in seed starter.under lights or in a window.once the seedling is 2-4 inches high .take out of the seed starter andput in well draining bonsai soil.when spring comes put it outside.thats the basics annyway.ive started trident maple, japinese red pine, and giant sequya this way.please remember thats there no such thing as bonsai seeds, just trees seeds.bonsai comes after training about 5-8 years after germination.i have sevral speicies some 30 years old some 1 year old.if you have anny ??? email me
