Fuckin Right! This whole thread has been people bitchin about how they didnt like it or how other people shoulnt go. Its my choice as with everything I do. So fuck off! And let me be

 

it's personal opinion... bonnaroo is a blast if you are out to meet tons of people and deal with lots of heat... but the awesome experience surpasses all the porto-potties, mud, and sunburn. just bring a good attitude and some water and you will have a blast... it's expensive but at smaller shows you do not get the same freedom... no body messes with you there and it's so damn nice.. just smile and be happy! (it's almost summer time *dances* yay!)

 

I guess u cant read because the majority of people are people that are going. Not people saying anything bad about roo, So no u fuck off asshole!

 

What the hell are you talkin about? I was agreeing with you, and yes most of this thread has been people bitchin about how bad there expierence was. So take your anger elsewhere. We really dont need it.

How can people not be excited to see herbie play chameleon? It like revolutionized fusion... it's gonna be sick. I think the superjam this year will be with trey and herbie. I heard a recording of last year's superjam and wished I was there though, my style of music all the way. It sucks Soulive won't be there, or MMW, both bands I like a real lot.

And yea, I was thinking medeski herbie and trey but I wasn't sure if they would have two pianists.. but then think about herbie on piano and medeski on hammond...

hey guys. This will be my first bonnaroo experience this year, and im so so so so so so excited. I was wondering, is there like buildings you can shower at? I'm thinking of bringing my son, and its going to be extremly hot, so i'd like to keep him as cool as possible, know what im sayin? I just wondered if there are showers, or some sort of mist room, or what? How private is it if there is something like that? -thanks.

 

No showers but you can buy personal showers from walmart that are for camping but you could only do that in the campground

 

there are a lot of "mist tents" throughout the camping area and inside the venue. during the hottest part of the day, we'd often take our chairs and sit IN the mist tent for a few hours...and sometimes i'd even take a nap in there

*dances around* yay les claypool is going to be at bonnaroo.. la dee da! they have schedules up now if anyone wants to check it out! nice to know nothing is really getting interfered with this year.. as for showers, my group we'd just stop by the watering "pits" as we called them and hose off and go on our merry ways i found a great way to stay cool (especially if you're gonna have a little one) get those misting fans and fill it with water and throw some ice in there it's great for those hot muggy days..

 

so what bands are you guys most excited about seeing?

Oh my gosh all the decisions I dont know what to do-Allman Brothers or Herbie Hancock, STS9 or The Mars Volta, The one thing i know is I'm goin to see THE WORD-and les Claypool and widespread

 

that's the only thing i hate about bonnaroo, so many great bands playing so damn close together... i just know i'm looking forward to Les, The Word, Panic, Karl Denson's, Allman Bro's, damn just everything .. less than a month left you guys!

 

Do you guys think they'll search cars down at bonnaroo i hear they might but i think its just rumors.
