non-energetic? I've heard of a lot words used to describe moe. but never non-energetic. not that you're not entitled to your opinion, I just found that statement odd

(IMO) non-energetic meaning putting then as headliners at the end of a festival was the wrong idea. i mean, putting moe. AFTER mmw? not a good idea, it should have been reversed IMO. i just remember being on stage listening to these guys play last year and their jams just seemed like never ending loops, not really going anywhere... like i said, just my opinion.

    sick.. mtv?
pssh i guess i can forget bonnaroo this year.
last year was alright; i did, however, get some negative vibes.. some guy actually started a fight next to me before the dead. the "cigarette smoke was getting in his eyes" and he started yelling at people to stop smoking..
that guy and the stupid frat kids just kinda turned me off.

I have no clue as to who all is playing at Bonnaroo this year, but I do know that the ticket prices have been jacked up. Last year was a bit too mainstream..I mean, Maroon 5, c'mon. I still had an awesome time though. I really hate to hear MTV may be there..that blows. OHHH the crowd that will draw in..:$ I live like 20 minutes from where Bonnaroo is held, and rumor has it the police will be alot tighter this year. I honestly don't think it's gonna be as chilled as it has been in the past. I'm just gonna wait to hear the line-up before paying some insane amount of money.

Me too, they have a negative vibe about them. And I personally dont think the band themselves are very good musically or personally.

I have heard that MTV was going to be at Bonnaroo the last two years. It is just a rumor. I wouldn't believe that until you see a MTV logo on the Bonnaroo website.

Drugs aren't gonna be able to be done as "freely" as in the past, due to the two deaths from last year. From what I hear, it's gonna be alot harder to get your shit in. I don't think they want to change too much though..it has done alot for that little town. I wouldn't be too concerned with it..most of the locals welcome Bonnaroo. I don't think the inside environment is gonna change, it's gonna be coming in and leaving that's gonna be a bitch...hide it well, folks!! :)

People that weren't drug educated. You don't mix Oxycotin with alcohol. That's what I heard. I also heard cocaine, but obivously whatever they were doing they weren't educated about the effects and what it could do to you.

i get really upset when i hear stuff like that, because the scene is supposed to be inclusive. people judging strangers and calling em custies; wtf. concerts aren't high school.

You might all see my smilin face down at Bonnaroo this year... Just because it's 2 days after my birthday and it would be a good way to celebrate my new year. Lots of things are gonna be changin' in 6 months, I'll tel yall that much right now:) But anyways, wish it were a different fest. Make sure ya'll get out to Allgood this year if you're lookin' for a good sized fest! I had an excellent time on Marvin's Mountain. I think I have to agree with whoever said small ones are the best though. Gotta love that sense of family...

bradofcentralpa--While I agree it should be fully inclusive, I dont like the people who go to festivals like bonnaroo for drugs, and not music. This is what has happened to 'roo, you have people going there who can name 0 songs from every band there....now you tell me they are tehre for the music?

Both the ppl died from taking too many drugs too soon. The chick had special K, valium, oxycodone, and cocaine in her system. The guy had cocaine, oxycodone, and xanex in his. I guess the heat probably played a part as well, as they were both dehydrated.

why can't people fucking have common sense about drugs?! AHHH! how ridiculous! why is it all about drugs? it seriously makes me sick to my stomach. whoever mixes drugs like those, is a fucking idiot. i'm sorry those people died but DAMN what the fuck did they expect? GAH! sorry for ranting.. this is just one of the reasons i might not go to bonnaroo- fucking idiots who are all about drugs and not music.
    it's SICKENING!

I completely agree with you. There was way too much of that going on. Now I'll be the first to tell ya I love some shrooms at a festival, but pills and coke, c'mon. There was so much coke going around Bonnaroo last year it was unreal. It is sad, it really is.
