I say this year we just stay, chip in and buy the land, the stages, the kitchens and make it into a real community and take care of each other....just think how wonderful and actually how easy something like that could be done if enough people put their hearts and minds into something of this notion.....power in numbers....make the world turn on its heels and say what the hell are those cats doing and why.....the first step is always the hardest then we'd be walking on the moon
if youve been to any Roo's in the past youll know thats already happened (except for the boughten land). The folks are magic, its amazing how 150,000 people with the same interests can mingle with one another. It truly is an amazing weekend, i think every year gets better and more music so im excited for 06.
this is pure rumor so I have no idea if its true, I question it myself. rumor #1 reunited Pink Floyd to headline (;/) rumor #2 Radiohead ive gone the past 2 years and loved every second. Bands I hope are gonna be there Ween, Perpetual Groove, The Arcade Fire, Moe., STS9, The flaming Lips, The dead, Neil Young. grr cant wait.
pink floyd..... YEAH RIGHT, that would never happen. some of the headlining guess for me are dylan, neil young, bright eyes, the other ones.
please god not Bright Eyes. I think the Arcade Fire will be there for some reason. which would be great. I guess with Neil Young it depends on his health.
i dont think bright eyes will be the main headline but i think they are gonna be up there this year... suposely neil is doing very well.
I'm just hoping like hell The Dead are gonna be there this year. Last year just wasn't the same without them.

I had to go check this rumor out, and I think maybe you're right. Wakarusa has previously been on that third weekend but now they're talking of Waka being the second weekend and Roo being the third weekend of June. not that the 2 are related really, but they kind of are, since they both draw pretty sizeable numbers of some of the same crowds and bands. Interesting that they might flip flop that way. Kind of screws up my summer plans but I'll roll with it somehow.
I really am hoping and it seems probable the flaming lips will be there. They love playing festivals (Please god let me go to Langerado) and they will have a new album, Bpnnaroo seems like a good idea for them.
