not sure if this is the same smilefest you guys are talking about but here's the link to the one in NC: http://www.smilefest.com/ i'm going to go to Haymaker this year, lots of good bands I have seen in Richmond...I think tickets just went up to 75 dollars, but compared to like 190 for bonnaroo...I think it's a pretty good deal, and I think a lot of the bands at Haymaker are playing at Bonnaroo too... http://www.haymaker.net/ -joanna
I'm from orange county NY. Looking for someone to hang out with mself and boyfriend, to listen to some tunes. Anyone interested email me.
Bonn 2005...I'm in the same situation looking for some good peope to travel down with and make some of our own harmonies....new up in west virginia for the time being and the lack of culture really puts a damper on finding good people...about bonn though Commercialized or not when it all comes down to what is important, Bonn is about Music simply..enjoy the sweet sensual vibes, you and the music in your own "space"...100,000 or 100 individuals do not matter that music will "not fade away"....small shows have their own hangups....smilefest last year was a sincere bum trip as far as vibe aspects...atf, marijuana busts + more, and paranoia really rained down...but as a wise man once said "once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest places if you look at it right"...thats all that needs to be said in the end
I am driving to Bonnaroo and we are picking someone up in Atlanta...so I guess I wouldn't mind a couple more...If you need a ride, hit me up ...it should be good times
I live in central IL right off of I-57, if anyone's heading down from Chicago etc. and has some room that would be great. Went to the first Bonnaroo and haven't been back since as I haven't found a way to get down there and it's such a big festival it seems to weed out quite a few people from wanting to go. Ahh the Sun! Damn it was hot in 2002.
If anyone needs a ride just email me and ill see what I can do- I live in the alqonquin area so- riding down with four other people looking for one more-split cost of gas
As the greatly anticipated "ROO" draws closer, I was looking to see if any cool people from Roanoke, Va is going? let me know cause I got the ticket RV TENTS GRILL THE WORKS AND 7 OF US GOING SO FAR LOOKING FOR MORE!
