Bond (Stay in Touch)

I just came across this. It seems kind of cheesy, but also sad (in the video the inventor says people don't touch as much anymore and just communicate through technology now), but overall, I think it's a cool idea. I'd actually consider ordering it, but I don't have anyone to give the other one too.. ;[
What do you think of it? Would you buy it?

That is a really neat idea. I could see people using this.

I wonder if it could help someone who for example has issues with being touched as it is similar but not the same, rather like conditioning. Interesting.

I think it's pretty cool, maybe BF wants one, he keeps saying he wants to touch and be with me during the day. Can we turn em up to make a zapping feeling? I am thinking like a dog collar to make em stop barking, haha

I bet this would be good for a parent stuck in a seniors home or home alone when their kids are working, a touch could mean everything, just like receiving a card means lots to some people, or a phone call but hopefully it wouldn't make phone calls stop happening tho.

 

I would probably need constant touching, at least every hour.

 

I get bad separation anxiety sometimes....so it might be good for that.....

 

I have a feeling once BF moves in I will be able to get enough of him, maybe more then enough so maybe this would be good for me and my parents.
Sometimes my mom is awake at night and would call me but is afraid to wake me even tho she knows I am a night owl just like she is, she could touch it and if I was awake I would call her. Ya, I think it has it's good points.

I did have thought that though it would be pretty cool if someone touched their end a few times a day... once every couple of hours-whatever- it could get rather annoying rather fast if someone was touching it constantly or something.
