I don't think I will become a werewolf. Ha. I've been hospitalized for more than a few months and of course, I couldn't shave, but I didn't turn out that hairy.

Anyways, are you with someone? How do they feel about you not shaving?

And I'll keep fighting the patriarchy by scaring away the big tough mens with my epic fuzzy legs.

(Seriously, if I shaved, I would blind people for blocks because I'm so pale.)

Here is what we can agree on- stubble sucks.

I'm quite pale myself, but I don't mind being pale. I actually prefer it. For the life of me, I can't get into the societal programming of having tanned skin. I tried it and when I had discussions about it, I would whine about how I'm so pale and want to be tanned, like I know I should. But, in my heart... I rather be pale. I associate it with innocence and I want to be innocent. Though, I understand and respect those who chose to tan and I especially respect those who are born tanned. I try my best to be a good girl to society, but I can't be programmed for everything.

Curious, why be "a good girl to society?"

Why not be your own woman?

And pale is in. Especially if you survived basal cell carcinoma.

I was born with zero body hair. No pubes no eyelashes no eyebrows no nothin. I have to spend three hours drawing it all on every morning

I don't know, I just always felt and thought for my survival it's best to follow society. Of course, I have exceptions to that rule, such as being pale because I associate it with things I prefer to associate with,

For a second, your response made me think I was in another thread that I mistakenly posted in.

I rarely shave my armpits and leg hair. And I trim my pubic hair but I shave it sometimes.

As a guy I don't shave period-stopped shaving my face when at uni. As an aside when I was about 12 I shaved a bit of my legs to see if they would get hairier. Of course they didn't.

My partner has hairier legs than me + she's probably shaved them less than 6 times in 20 years, though she never bares them publicly. She's never shaved or trimmed her pubes or pits, but does remove some facial hair on her upper lip + chin.
