I think he's totally amazing, he created such a huge change in Jamaica and North America (and undoubtedly other places) in his lifetime, and his music really did make a difference. Come on, Jamaica even made his BIRTHDAY a national holiday! I think my favorite songs from him are Sweat (or Looking In Your Big Brown Eyes), Legalize Marajuana, Knocking On Heaven's Door, Don't Worry Be Happy, Jamming, I can see Clearly Now, and either I Shot The Sheriff/Redemption Song.
Just thought I'd share that 'Knocking On Heaven's Door' is Bob Dylan's song, and I believe Marley didn't do a cover of that, I can't say anything for sure. Don't Worry Be Happy is Bobby McFeerin's song and I don't think Marley ever covered that and the same goes for I can see Clearly Now. Love, Borut
I do think its been kinda a trend to wear bob marley shirts lately but thats besides the point the man is a genius...without him so many things would not have been around today...and im majorly certain that without bob marley there would not have been a sublime me likey: legalize marijuana no women no cry buffalo soldier i shot the sheriff get up stand up rastaman chant and many many more...
all of his songs are very great, but my all time favorite would Rainbow Country. that song is so beautiful, theres not many words that could describe it.
Hmm, I dunno Borut, it says he sang those, and it really sounded like him (the voice and the reggae moosic playing), but maybe you're right, I just downloaded them and it said that he sang them...
My favorite Songs by him are: One drop(if you feel it in the one drop, your lucky) Natural Mystic Concrete Jungle You cant fool the youth Soul Rebel Exodus Kaya Positive Vibration Heathan(yeahhhhh man that song is Powah, The Lions of Judah Roar, Jah put the heathen back deh, pon da wall) I know therse many more... whipee
