yeah he died of malinoma it started in his toe but he wouldnt let the docs operate rasta belif your body must be whole i respect that he stayed true to his religon but its a sad loss for the world even to this day i think
lol, i didn't know you could get "toe cancer". I wasn't referring to how bob died, just to the cause of death in general.
a toe is skin muscle bone cartiledge u can get bone cancrer multiple forms of tumoprs in the muscle and several types of skin cancers..his was a skin cancer any cancer untreatted can run rampant and affect the lymph syste,m and spread to organs so a skin cancer can spreasd to heasrt lungs liver and brain even though they hawve no skin i thynk (dont quote me inm no doctor just did reasearch tryonmg to help freinds beat varius forms of cancer) i believe the lymphatic system once affected is responcible fopr spreading it to multiple organs
i don't know about him but i had a friend who did get lice in his dreads, had to shave them off and when he did the lice were still in the little hair he had left, but that could happen to anyone !
26? WTF? This is complete and utter bullshite. Only three of the 200 known species of sucking lice infest humans. They are the head louse (Pediculus humanus capitis) , the body louse (Pediculus humanus humanus) and the crab/pubic louse (Phthirus pubis). Of these only 1 (ONE) species would inhabit dreadlocks: the good old head louse.
eeeeek I worry about lice quite a bit. I realli don't want to get them in my dreads. I heard t-tree oil helps as they can't stand the smell so won't go near a head w/ the scent. though I don't realli like the smell either. As for Bob Marley, he is so interesting! I'd love to read a book on him or have met him! He was a beauty
so in the rasta thing its wrong to have surgery??? but you can spit out babies like Pez with a lot of babies mommas. weird!
It can be. If you're supposed to have respect for human life and not alter your body shouldn't you have respect for other human lives and not have kids if you can't actually raise them. Getting face time and making sure that your children feel loved and appreciated is hard when you're traveling even if you're married and secure in your relationship and finances. Having umpteen baby mamas is like throwing gas on a fire. Did he just send checks for half of the kids?
maybe the thought that spreading the word was more important. guess we'll never know why he did what he did. no ones perfect.
"Rasta no abide amputation. I don't allow a mon ta be dismantled." preposterous comments about his children though, dont compare that to your nowadays' societys norms
I still fail to see how this has anything to do with a Rasta not wanting to physically alter their body...? Sure, we could debate the morality surrounding Bob Marley's multiple children/"baby mamas", but it still has very little correlation to what actually caused his death (particularly if you're basing it off his religious/spiritual beliefs). And I would also like to say that using the term "bugs" to describe single celled, micro-bacteria is not really the appropriate term. People don't have bugs crawling all over their skin; "bug" is a really loose term for a creepy, crawly invertebrate (i.e. not bacteria). Lice is DEFINITELY no where near the equivalent of the normal, natural amount of bacteria a person encounters on an every day basis.
