I can jam to it sometimes, but to me a lot of it sounds like some drunken hillbilly just pluckin away on a banjo. i hate to stereotype, but tahts totally what it reminds me of!! :(

 Wayfaring, I'm offended by that... I happen to have friends who are STONED "hillbillies" who play BG... they are called Yonder Mountain...lost in the woods with the munchies? oh, no, not again....

I used to hate bluegrass with a passion. Then a friend convinced me to attend a ymsb concert. Now I love it.

I love how fast it is!!!!!!

I recently got a record of a band that started out doing bluegrass in the 60s and I have thier first live album and its excellent!!!!!!

    Anyone like The Dillards?

    Live!!!! Almost!!!

They played bluegrass on thier first 3 records then sadly changed and a later album I have from them (1972) isnt as good........
