" he's a ni-" Local theater is showing some older movies, Blazing Saddles is today on the BIG screen. They will be showing Blade Runner soon too--BIG SCREEN as it should be seen. Over the years in different places I've lived, various people have run older movies in art house type deals. They didn't always make it. There aren't really any here, but I wish that there were. Those I mentioned are being shown in the regular BIG HOLLYWOOD type theater and these oldies are extra, so to speak. I had so much fun running movies in a friends restaurant back in the 70s in a little town on the Oregon coast. Pretty good turnout.
We have a couple old theaters here, they have dinner and a movie, byob type things. Ive not gone to them much.
I saw one advertised once in Florida. Went and it turned out to be a regular house and there was about 15 of us sitting on couches. Pretty cool. Saw a movie from Brazil--don't remember the name of it, though.
i like that movie..mel brooks movies were almost always great i was watching hang em high a few days ago and that always reminds me blazing saddles because they parodied the gallows scenes pretty good
# 1 son is debating whether or not to take his 12 year old daughter. I don't remember anything that she shouldn't see. But, it's been years and years since I saw it.
OK--I now see why he didn't want to bring her. Been so long since I've seen it. I got some laughs out of it.
I saw it in the theatre when it came out. I don't remember anything bad in it. Think iv rented it to once since then too.
i liked the weird movies from odd parts of the world they used to show in art movie houses when i lived in oregon in the 80s
