    Hey folks, I just found this on a backup drive...
    Original Hippy.com Website | Hippyland
    The original Hippy.com website from 1996!
    Check out all the original groovy graphics that I designed for it.

    I was living in Amsterdam and fueled by Douwe Egberts and Nepalese Hashish.

    That was a great time!

    And Hipforums evolved from that very basic html site to what it is today!

    Ah that reminds me how I found Hip Forums. Hippy Havens. I was debating a move to Asheville

    But that wouldnt have been from the OG hippy.com that you linked because I was only in 6th grade in 96

    Main page in 2003 was a black background with stars. April 1, 2003. Different forums had different backgrounds.

    Yup, I customized the code so we could change background on each forum.
    I think the top-of-the line forums are just getting around to adding that feature this year...
    We were ahead of our time...

    I DID find it!
    When I was on this forum back in the. 90s I THOUGHT it was called Hippyland!
    Then I decided that I must have been mistaken.
    I think I was angelgodiva back then

    The name still fits as my hair, though going white, falls now to below my waist

    Hallelujah-- I am home.
    And I remember YOU, Skip.
