Remember how cool our rooms looked?! Can you find images of vintage blacklight posters that you had up?
My brother and sister-in-law had this one. They lived in the family home for a while after they got married.
well, it seemed cool at the time... i feel like i would hate it now. i like my rooms fully lit up now, unless i'm trying to sleep. that mushroom poster that's in the top left corner of the second picture and the middle of the third picture. i'm pretty sure that one was in my room in my first apartment. me and my roommate had that room all decked out, not quite to the extent of those pictures but close. i think i still have a couple blacklight posters, but they're buried in my closet at this point.
We had this one. It's hard for me to remember whose room it was in. There were three or four of us who had blacklights and posters in our rooms.
I was doing a search one day in 2003 for black light posters and the name Hip Forums popped up. I thought to myself this forum looks interesting, and to my surprise, I found a forum with about 30 old hippies taking about the way things use to be. :smoke out:
I had this one, but in different colors. Blue, Pink, Purple were kind of dominate in mine. Was one of my faves though.
I used to have a fair few of these in my room when I was a teenager. Mostly specific posters of music albums. I had like a fish tank light sized black light. I think it lit the room more than the posters lol. But it was funky.
I never had a blacklight but I did have posters. One of them was something like this one by Alex Grey.
