The new Charlie Brooker creation, just celebrating it's 3rd series on Netflix with a 4th planned for next year. The Twilight Zone meets brave new world, Orwell's complex, internetty technology dramas, different every week with a twist at the end usually. I liked the twist at the end on s03e03 the one about ransomware. Made sense, but not sure I like the negative stereotype it will no doubt reinforce, perhaps that's the idea, in an artful Charlie Brooker sort of way. He likes to fuck with your mind, and subvert our perception of what reality is, which is a good thing. This episode had Bron from Game Of Thrones in it as well, or the ugly one from Jerome and Flynn. He's good in this as well. They've both done good TV drama since their days as cunts who sang really bad pop songs that old women listen to. A lot of well known faces are turning up in Black Mirror. Bit of trivia for you. This song has featured in all three series so far, or seasons if you live in America. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkaWpHTMq1M
It only just started on Netflix. Used to be on Channel 4 or 4oD if you can get it. Of course, there are places elsewhere that cater for all episodes. I think season 2 is just one episode, a christmas special with John Hamm as one of the two characters in it. I'm sure there will be a US version soon.
Ultimately all that matters in this particular instant is that Charlie Brooker knows his TV, perhaps better than me. An insightful man. If you want to base a TV recommendation on the fact I also like TWD then perhaps you should save that one for Quarry. I be posting about that too, but no-one else is saying shit about it.
New series Ep4 has gone all 80's old skool. I'm liking this new series. You don't have to watch them in any particular order as they are all stand alone. s3e4 has gone all 80's American high school movie Molly Ringwald I can't remember exactly what the earlier ones are about as I watch a lot of TV and I drink myself demented too often
Should I be concerned about the fact that this thread is the first place I've heard of Kodi? Always thought it was the name of Metal Mickey's mechanical friend, but I might be getting confused with Buck Rogers
The Bees was best and the Roaches was good. Blackmail was pointless, like who cares if someone publishes a video online of you having a wank? Where's the threat? Facebook .... nobody would really care unless severely mentally ill. The other two episodes were such rubbish I can't even remember their plot .... and I only watched them 4 days ago.
You should be concerned ..... Kodi with TVAddons is the only way to go for streaming (and downloading) ..... I've been using it for 2 years. You can even watch the downloads as they are downloading in it.
What can I say. I know a guy who knows a guy. Blackmail was pointless, like who cares if someone publishes a video online of you having a wank? Where's the threat? Spoiler The twist at the end was subtle. If you remember the little girl in the burger bar scene. And the weirdo in the shit forest. He was beating one off to photos of naked girls.
If I knew how to make that last post make sense I would, but the posting box thing went all bugger up on me and I can't be arsed anymore
A video taken using your Built in lappy camera, doesn't show what you are beating off to, it only shows you beating off. Lappy camera doesn't show lappy screen. Therefore no blackmail threat.
How does that apply to streaming BBC productions, on Kodi? They recently changed the law in the UK so you now have to pay for a TV licence to stream BBC programs on the iPlayer. Big question mark over whether they have the legal right to enforce that though, even for watching actual telly. Of course the BBC are 9/11 terrorist plot co-conspirators and to give them any money in that knowledge would mean commiting a terrorist offence as per the terrorist act 2000. Gee, what should I do there...
Yeah, great show. I also picked up on that song being a running thing in the series. and let's not forget the Prime Minister fucking a pig.......
