Black Lives Matter Accused Of Tying Up And Torturing Disabled Man

OK I've been thinking about this comment and I'll explain it like this:

The Perp was known to the victim. When you are the parent of a child/young adult with mental illness you want them to have as normal a life as possible and not isolate themselves making their condition worse. You want them to go out and have friends etc. This also brings up another interesting issue the issue of perceived racism. In this case the perp was black. The mother didn't like him for other reasons but on one hand it was a friend for her disabled son and on the other if she tells her son not to hang out with the black kid for whatever reason it makes her look racist. Interesting Catch 22. Incidentally after this attack the kid will probably be justifiably more than a little racist.

Just so you know this is an obsolete disparaging term, it was used as a medical term a long time ago... turned slang and as you are well aware, or I hope you are? Regarding the violence at BLM protests. I'm pretty much Drumminmama's neighbor. Based on my observations of protests/riots/looting in the Bay Area and reports from Fergusson it kind of goes down like this:

Fantastic public transportation leads to people from outlying areas to go in to protests which allows people who are in my opinion assholes to get in and out quickly who start rioting, drop windows and loot. Generally they have no connection to the protest at hand and are just there to riot and loot and are using any connection to a cause as an excuse.

During the Fergusson protests they actually dropped a window on a Moroccan home furnishing shop right next to my house. Way to stick it to the cops huh!?

No, I cannot say that I did watch the video, and the spot checking I did do.....was to try to get a sense of what happened to the victim. I thought I heard the girl I was talking about say..."What did he do?"....but since you tell me she told them to kill him, maybe there is no hope for her, afterall. I have not been following this story really. I was happy to hear that the victim is alive, so that was a relief...Now, it is up to the justice system and all four perps......whether to makes something of themselves or not, as you said.

The little I saw of the video. I could not really understand what was being said. I just came to this thread once in awhile to try to figure out what was going on at times.....

but like I said before.....I do not condone violence of any sort to anyone or anything.

I can honestly say I didn't watch the video either as my PTSD is triggered enough reading about it. I know that some of the comments I've made here sound like I condone violence even though I don't. I also understand my own visceral reactions as they are a part of my own humanity and denying them is unhealthy.

Fortunately or not the only way to keep these 4 safe in prison is to have them spend their entire sentences in solitary confinement and even at that it wouldn't surprise me if at least one of them doesn't "Fall down the stairs."

Also from what I've read the younger sister did say stop and her sister with the cell phone just laughed it off. That has to be a hard position to be put in because really the only thing there is for you to do is to roll on your own family and friends. "Snitches get stitches."

So if any black person hurts a white person we should blame BLM? If you check your history you'll find that Martin Luther King was often held accountable for any black on white crime committed back then by those who claimed the Civil Rights Movement encouraged such behavior. If a movement built on passive resistance can be blamed for violence then BLM certainly can, by those who want black people to continue being harassed and profiled.

 

You see he doesn't need to read the article or believe the Chicago PD because he's a smart guy and knows about stuff, you know. He knows more about this than the Chicago PD who is investigating this.

BLM is a focus group, dedicated to putting a spotlight on the violence committed by cops against blacks. I've never heard any of them deny the problem of black on black crime, it just isn't a part of their mission.

There are already people addressing the problems of black on black crime; Mothers Against Senseless Killings is an example. EarthHeart Foundation is another. And there are apparently peaceful protests all the time in communities where violence is a problem. The media, it seems, doesn't deem this to be 'newsworthy'; neither do politicians as they had rather have us at each others throats.

So why do some people have a problem with BLM's objectives? The sad fact is that there are some bad cops on the street and something should be done about it. I don't judge all police officers based on the actions of the few bad ones. Why judge the entire BLM movement based on the negative actions of a few? Again, we must remember that the media is more likely to report on protests where violence breaks out; we shouldn't base our opinions only on what we hear on the news.

 

Sorry to disagree with but BLM is not a focus group. Focus groups are first, diverse, BLM is not diverse. Focus groups are designed as a controlled study where questions are asked and opinions given. Usually on a product ... used for advertising purposes.

Have you heard oh Roland fryer? He is an economist from Harvard university, his studies showed that there was absolutely no racial difference statistically when a police officer actually shoots someone. He is Black, if that makes a difference? 50 % of convicted murderers are black. Approx 50% of people killed by cops are white.

Now back to the topic here.

I was thinking about this young man who has clinical depression, which many suffer from or have experienced in their life, or knows someone who has. This has been made public when it was really no ones business. people with in this forum have called him names, criticized him ... I highly doubt he will be returning to school this year. Some at that school will blame him for sending the popular young man to jail, just like attitudes witnessed within this thread from certain people. I am sure his family will need to take time off work to spend with him, make sure he is ok. Make sure he survives this. These people took a lot away from a person who just wanted to have friends.

 

And to add to that above, fight action engage is exactly what these individuals did to this white young man, BLACK LIVES MATTER, Fuck Donald trump is something you see on signs and hear at BLM marches. These are statements these adults screamed at the young man. Fight action engage incites riots, violence...Absolutely no reason to listen to what others have to say based on their skin colour, BLM wants the people to believe they are helping the advancement of black peoples in the community, a spokes person for the killing of black people by cops. They are about something, it is a smoke screen.

The chart that 6 eyed showed above is completely accurate. So what exactly is BLMs agenda? TO HATE! To be against the white supremest (a white supremest is anyone who is in a position of power, wether it be a white woman who owns a little coffee shop, or a white president if the United States) which translate to people to hate whites, they are the enemy. This group is no better than the aryan brotherhood, nazism, Marxism, and have adopted the exact same tactics used to endocrinate people into attacking people and hating people based on ethnicity/differences. Exactly what the 4 black people did to the white young man. BLM breed fear which breeds hatred/racism in order to what? Incite violence ...

Yes BLM is culpable to what was done to this young man.

 

Black Lives Matter is being used as a smokescreen in this instance. First of all I know plenty of White and Latino supporters of BLM. I have yet to talk to anyone about it who has wanted to bust my head or tell me to shut the fuck up and mind my own business because I'm white and support them.

Seriously from what I've gathered these kids were wannabe gangster kids and probably not even political. "Fuck Donald Trump" is not a copyrighted phrase of BLM. Fuck I even say it on a regular basis. That guy in the video, I can respect him... he isn't denying anything that these people did.. he never said it was racist though, which they were/are... he admitted and was honest about things he does ... he has compassion for people. the ones who did it are racist, they are responsible... not trying to be bad ass in my opinion, just wanting power over someone weaker/different... No second chances when you do something like that. Consequences.

BLM,/ Shaun King...has even diverted it away from the facts of the event. I would have respected the group if they had stood behind the tortured one. There was an opportunity for them to show that racism is Racism and condemned the ones responsible.. Instead they said... If people are supportive of BLM from all ethnic background why would BLM not be outraged and supportive to all as well?... because they are white supremest!? You know how offensive that is!
