1) think of RC's like asbestos, lead paint, certain pesticides, or even cigarettes. any chemical that we came up with, used a lot, then realized it was extremely dangerous.

2) before rc's became widespread, if you bought acid it was either acid or a blank tab. if you bought molly, it was molly or it was molly cut to hell with whatever. personally, i would rather eat a blank tab then a sketchy chemical. I would rather eat a gram of flour then something that who knows what might happen. such as, losing circulation and having your body parts turn purple (this isnt rare at all, do a little research on mephedrone). its pretty difficult to eat overdose amounts of lsd or mdma, but rcs? yeah..its like you said, if people didnt know whatsup they bought notebook paper and oregeno. these are people who probably shouldnt be doing drugs, and now instead of wasting their money they are just getting fucked in a way worse way

3) your mindset is extremely selfish. you think of rc use as something thats great because you and all your friends know what theyre doing, so fuck the rest of the world. younger people just dont have connects, and they really shouldnt. but any dumb fuck with google and a po box can order research chemicals. when i have kids, i sure as hell dont want them being exposed to drugs heavier then pot in high school.

How about all sorts of sketchy amphetamines everywhere and in everything? Then came that brand new RC, MDMA, and 2C-B (&co....)...... and fuck, if you don't like 2C-B, what the fuck DO you like? You realize many of these research chemicals are more than twice as old as you or I?

3) Your mindset dumbs everyone down. Drugs can be dangerous, and care must be exercised, and we all know this. This is true of LSD, and MDMA, and all the things you think are the "real deal". Your whole argument is that less drugs with fewer effects and possible human experiences is preferable, because you have sketchy friends who lie about drugs...... You're blaming chemicals for the behavior of nasty people (who you admit to being friends with-maybe you're really talking about you), who choose to knowingly endanger the lives and wellbeing of others for money.

You're arguing that more ignorance can fix a problem wholly caused by ignorance.

First off, There has been no autoposy or GC/MS done to confirm what that person took, the Police President just speculated bath salts, which is the latest 'drug craze' so they'll blame it on that, just as the cops suspected LSD for whatever reason. Secondly, I have never heard of bath salts being sold as LSD to anyone and you really are beyond stupid if that's what you're talking about being passed off as acid. Incidents similar to this have happened from drugs like cocaine and PCP as well, these psychotic reactions aren't a RC specific phenomenon. Most likely that incident is from some RC but probably not anything similar to LSD which is what I thought we were discussing before you dragged up this story.

So this is why it's so ignorant on your part to categorize all RC's together, we are talking about chemicals that come from a variety of different drug classes, that produce markedly different effects; from Stimulants, to depressants, to psychedelics. MDPV for example, has had several reported incidents of overdoses and negative reactions and it then followed that it was made illegal. Something like 2cc for example has had no significant negative reactions or overdoses that I am aware of, possible therapeutic effects, so how is it fair or logical to group that with MDPV?

If you believe this, maybe we should learn from them and see what some of the negative effects of prohibiting chemicals creates, like getting adulterated and falsely advertised chemicals.

 

Using homophobia to describe RC's is kinda immature. Again, what have psychedelics done for you lately? From some of the posts recently it's clear that they haven't made some people

Using the Miami story to bolster a position speaks volumes. If someone can't see the similarities between that, and media reporting and gov't propaganda against drugs going all the way back to the demonization of marijuana in the 30's then I dunno.

So far I've read articles attributing the face eater to some new super lsd, cocaine psychosis, and bath salts. That alone should be enough to tell you that at this point we have no idea what this dude was on, if anything. Everybody who knows anything about drugs says it's probably PCP. I don't see any reason that this should connect to a discussion about RC's. The guy could just be fucking crazy. It wouldn't be the first time.

 

The concept behind them is all the same. Drugs are illegal, so people are cooking up rcs for a legal alternative. 2cc will become illegal eventually, and then there will be something else. on and on and on. new rcs pop up so often that there is no telling whether they will be dangerous or not. Its just stupid, and not worth the risk. Making drugs that have been used forever legal is probably the only solution, but that is never going to happen..

I threw that article in there because I just read it today and it was talking about bath salts, but really it doesnt have much to do with my argument at all. but I guess all you rc junkies had to jump on that since its the only unsound statement in my post

I'm not sure if 2CB is still considered an RC, but that was first synthed in '74 - which is 38 years of research(and LSD was synthed in 1938.. and it was my uncles 38th birthday today... CONSPIRACY!!!).. Wiki doesn't know the synth dates of any of the other 2C's I checked on, but my point is an RC is just a name for a group of chemicals. You're generalising quite badly saying that they're all poison.

Plus, when does a chemical that has earned the name "Research Chemical" stop being a "Research Chemical", and become a standard chemical, as you put it.

And for the record, I've never taken an RC and am not planning to - it's just a personal decision which could change at any time.. it's just pretty ignorant to label them all the same without doing individual research.

If you only understand the use of different drugs because they're "legal" (they're not.... I thought we settled that with Pickard and MDA), then you obviously have little love of psychedelic experiences, or curiosity about your brain-we're not all like you.

Stupid noobs take RC's and get hurt-bath salts and the like can be deadly. This is because of people (like your "friends", you know, the ones that are actually you) pass them off as things they're not, without adequate info to use them safely or cautiously.
