You either had DOx, or some really strong acid.

And because really strong acid is (almost) never real, you had DOx, I'd think.

 

Even 15 hits of liquid LSD only lasted ~10 hours for me. Sure I had trouble sleeping that night, but that was just residual stimulation, the actual meat of the trip was ~7 hours. If you are still getting VISUALS 15 hours after dosing then that is 100% DOx.

 

When I took 15 hits of liquid L I tripped for 16 hours easily. After 16 hours I stopped getting visuals and started trying to become normal again, but that took another 5 or 6 hours. It was definitely acid. Come up was under 15 minutes.

 

Ok, if were talking about body saturation levels, I can see even something like LSD being "backlogged" in the body's metabolism and still having effects past 8 hours. There is after all a huge variability in bodies. But if -one hit- is giving you 16 hours of visuals, I think it would be quite the stretch to say it's not DOx.

Of course this is all still so difficult because when exactly does a trip end? Do visuals end? There is a kind of calculus "trailing into infinity" effect, where even 10 years after taking a hit of LSD the visuals are not completely 0, they are 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%

Writer, with what I THINK was quite legit LSD, (some sort of euro ganesha cartoon print, I think you might have actually linked me to it on BL or somewhere), on ONE hit, I was getting the classic waves of trip, where you think it's gone for ten minutes, and then realize the walls are breathing and computer is hardly readable, to almost 13 hours.

Also, I think that duration is a U curve, if dose is a left/right line. I just have no idea where that curve is.....

 

Yeah 13 hours makes sense. We speak of LSD as being "8-12" hours so 13 hour is just barely an outlier. You are right, it's a bell curve. 90% of people will experience LSD as an 8-12 hour thing. 8% will experience as a 6 hour thing or a 14 hour thing. Then the odds of experiencing LSD for under 5 hours or over 14 hours gets quite low (but still humanely possible).

after tripping on an approximate monthly basis for the last couple of years, i think the length of my trips is quite a bit shorter. or i at least interpret them to be shorter - that is i "call" the end of the trip sooner than i used to.

2ce used to last 10-12 hours for me. this last time i dosed it, it seemed to last maybe 7 or 8 hours?

2cb and 4acodmt, i've only tried after dosing a lot on LSD and 2ce...and they are quite short acting for me, like they should be. but i wonder if i would have dosed 2cb a couple years ago, if it would have lasted 6 or 7 hours, instead of ~4.

 

Correction, sure. But since RC's are almost ALWAYS sold as something else the discrepancy doesnt really matter. I wish I could find the quote, but I read someone up here say something about tripping 11 times and thinking only one of them was real acid. Thats some serious bullshit. The issue of people selling water as LSD is probably a bit more rare.....

 

Have you ever had a good experience with an RC? I feel that if you did some research and found a chemical that sounds nice to you, you could really come to appreciate RC's for what they really are instead of just dismissing them because of bad drug dealers that you know and bad experiences that you've had.

There really is a great deal of potential in new chemicals, and if you're someone who enjoys psychedelics then you will most likely enjoy a lot of RC's. It is wrong for people to sell RC's as other drugs, but that doesn't have to discredit their potential.

You should really look into them. As someone who likes to take LSD surely you can see the benefits of having an open mind.

 

RCs are not almost always sold as something else. all the RCs i've ever ingested, i received them as the RC that they were. i don't believe i've ever had acid that was anything other than at least LS_

 

oh definitely. ive done 2ci, 2ce, 2cb, 25i, 4acodmt, mephedrone and several of its equivalents, a ton of the jwh's and probably more I cant think of right now. the only one I would probably do again is 4acodmt. That one is pretty awesome, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I would say this is a relatively new problem, vendors are selling rc's on blotter paper and in liquid more frequently now, so in the past year ive eaten fake shit every time ive bought some "lsd" from anyone besides certain people. If I didnt have access to such great acid I would probably order some research chems for myself, but I never get the purifying and joyful experience on any of the fake stuff compared to actual lsd. I usually eat a hit or two on a weekly basis to keep me sane/keep things in perspective. I dont think I could do that with any of the rc's ive tried, the potential unknown long term side effects of them really bother me

 

I can definitely relate about not getting the more profound effects of tripping from rc's, and only from lsd. My most profound trips have all been with lsd, but I'm very interested in trying a lot of rc's.

Its unfortunate that so many people misrepresent these drugs. I suppose it's harder to market a drug that no one knows anything about. Still I know people who sell rc's as what they are and I've bought several from second hand sources, most correctly represented.

I have bought an rc called mescaline, but I could easily tell that it was 2c-x because there was only 12mg per capsule. Still I had good experiences with it.

I've never used an rc that I didn't feel had a lot of potential. I simply haven't ventured very far with any so I haven't experienced their full potential.

How do you like mephedrone? One of my favorites.

 

I can understand how getting an RC sold to you as "LSD" can prevent a joyful, rewarding experience that's out of your control but I've read you mention snorting 2ci and then getting behind the wheel of a car before and with that kind of recklessness behavior you probably aren't going to get much out of any psychedelics.

Then to add to that, whether they are warranted or not, there are some issues you have like the uncertainty of the potential long term side effects with some of these RC's that probably plays into your psyche maybe more than some of us here and that might subconsciously detract from your trips by taking you out of your comfort zone and perhaps prevent you from getting the most out of them. Whereas acid you realize has the long history of use behind it, so you may not think twice of frying weekly.

 

What the fuck are you on about?

Most RC's are bought as exactly what they are, and consumed by knowing individuals.

When you go to get them online, your vendor doesn't tell you they're "totally acid" or anything....

When you meet people with them in real life, they don't go "this gel cap is totally full of acid, just don't take 2, you might die", they go "maybe you've never heard of this, it's a little bit like LSD or mushrooms, it's a psychedelic drug called whatever, it lasts however long and does whatever, don't underestimate it, it's crazy shit" or whatevers......

yeah, reckless no doubt. Also happened years ago, at which point I was abusing the hell out of myself. blowing opanas 3 times a day, tripping on cough syrup and shit.... a lot has changed. I would definitely have to agree on the mental aspect, but I really find it hard to believe anyone can eat rc's without the nagging thought that maybe this could be dangerous?

kid, im not talking about you and your friends ordering a half gram amongst yourselves to go have fun with. a buddy of mine just about made 100k last summer selling mephedrone as molly (ended up getting busted, lost all his money, serves him right). Every time I go to a show, there always ends up being a few people in my group with a sandwich bag of caps, and by the end of the night they've usually got a fat stack replacing them. Just use some common sense here. Rc's are way cheaper and easier to get than the real deal=profits way higher. If you really think people arent doing this, your clueless.

 

It's somewhat a matter of taste I guess. I've had mostly colored paper, and have only tasted a slight metallic taste on them. Never like there was something bitter on the paper.
(Even some very brightly color-saturated blotter from 2010.)

Maybe those would taste bitter to some people.

Definitely not as bitter as even 25i blotter, which I think it pretty mild tasting compared to DOx.

If it's something I have to concentrate on to taste, I wouldn't be that concerned, but if there's a strong bitter taste when it touches my tongue, I will pass.

(Luckily I haven't had this happen yet.)

Always has been, always will be. If you don't know what's up, you'll buy notebook paper, or oregano. So it has been since man has used any drugs.

What you're saying doesn't reflect poorly on RC's, it reflects poorly on you. You are the company you keep.

Get off your shit about "the real deal", acid was once legal, mephedrone was once legal, shrooms where once legal, MDMA was once legal, etc. People loved them before, and bought them intentionally. The real deal is the shit you want to take-I personally would prefer DOx to your huckster friends drugs, even if they really had what they said it was-but you wouldn't think that's the "real" deal, because they would sell it as acid.

And if you wait long enough, someone will buy your friends ricey honda with the cracked bodykit and valve tap for a racecar price..... Doesn't mean you can't make a honda into a racecar.
