The real Satoshi found? http://mag.newsweek.com/2014/03/14/bitcoin-satoshi-nakamoto.html I feel sorry for this guy, he wanted to keep his anonymity and some reporter tracked him down. There goes his life, even if he is not the 'real' Satoshi.
Still hoping it does, still want to buy more. A collapse this time I consider a 1000% increase of the price since a year ago.
there would have to be so many billions invested in bitcoin, for another increase in price like we seen from 25$--1,000$. (but it could happen?) this is bitcoin were talking about. anything could happen. hey..to Mr. Writer (mod of the fourms) mabye you could make a wallet for hip fourms, so people could donate(and upgrade acc.)with bitcoins to the fourms, like you did with paypal...just an idea?
I made that suggestion a while ago as well. http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=469975&f=32
oh...i never seen that,(sorry bird) i did,nt try to steal your idea there, i just looked into upgrading my account here today and seen paypal was accpected here.(was hoping bitcoin was there) i don,t think mr.w really likes the whole bitcoin thing, but whats the sites he could use to accpect bitcoin and have it converted into cash? would coinbase do it? or bitpay? of course the 4-day wait would be there with coinbase and he,d have to have a special bank account for it, i don,t know how bitpay works? is there any others, what would be the best option for that to work here?
huh what we was just talking about, check this news out bird, and mr.W http://www.coindesk.com/isnt-business-accepting-bitcoin/
Yeah interesting article. Btw, I don't know who you mean by Mr.W, but the owner of this site is Skip.
oh.. yeah .. Mr. writer the one mod here,(that seems to be on alot mabye he,s not a mod?) skip is way to busy to hear me. who is the top mod under skip? i don,t know as much about bitcoin as you (i think anyway) i,ll leave bringing that up to them, to you.
thank you..eggsprog cleared that up for me. is there a mod for each sub-fourm? how many is there. (just wondering)
this Bitcoin ATM buys-and sells, unlike the one,s in the U.S., where you can only buy. hope they make more of them, start churning those babies out. we need em. +---> http://www.coindesk.com/south-korea-launches-first-bitcoin-atm/
I'm getting about 420 khash on scrypt mining right now. I was getting way too many stale shares, when this happens it means you have the difficulty set too high, lower the difficulty and you will get less stale shares. Also getting 460 khash CPU mining qubits at the same time. I can pull about 1 Mhash mining quarks but those aren't really worth mining anymore, they were only really worth it for a couple weeks. Got my laptop mining too but it can only get about 85 khash on qubit algorithm but every share counts. I've made not too much money mining but I wouldn't call it insignificant either...I've bought some things with my mined coins. Anybody need help setting up a minerd script I'll be happy to give u one ready to run...plz everyone run my scripts lol
KnCminer offers scrypt miners as well now, just in case you are interested. They will be a friggin' 100 MH/s. https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-79
The problem I have with Bitcoins is the unsteady market value and the currency exchange process being provided by shady companies. It's easy to lose your money if you don't know what you're doing. Then again, Bitcoins is tax-free and its easy to go through with purchases or investments without leaving footprints all over. Hint hint
The unsteady market value could be both good and bad, but I agree it has to become more stable for it to go more mainstream. There are more and more professional and open exchanges and for example here in the Netherlands we can buy and sell with iDeal, a debet card system, and I have done this numerous times without any trouble. But I agree bitcoin is still in its infancy stages and there is a big need for better infrastructure.
