Bisexual Thats Lost His Sexuality Any Ideas To Get It Back ?

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this or have experience with this.This is the post i made on an asexual forum about the possibility of me being bi so i thought id come here to get other opinions too. Below is the post.

a long time now iv felt no sexual attraction to any gender which is how i came to the idea of being asexual about a year ago but for some reason i never felt 100% comfortable with this i could never tell why everybody else seemed to feel like they had a weight lifted when they found about asexuality and i didn't.

So recently i started digging through my memories as with my asexuality it was something that gradually happened over time.However there has always been a certain part of my memory i couldn't/didn't want to get at which would be around 12 - 14 years of age.The reason for this is that over that period of time i experienced some long term for lack of a better phrase "extreme distress" it wasn't anything extremely horrible like rape or witnessing a murder but even so in general its a part of my life i prefer not to remember but recently i made myself remember sections of it and its these handful of memories that lead me to a shocking conclusion

That conclusion being i was.. well should be bi sexual i now remember being both physically and emotionally attracted to both genders.However i never had a word for bisexuality at the time which is why it never crossed my mind until i remebered but something happened during that time of "extreme distress" which later caused my sexuality to decline eventually leading me to become asexual also making me distrusting and distant from other people which i had originally thought was part of asexuality but from reading the forums i realized it isn't.

So now i know who i am a bisexual who has been robbed of his sexuality while i feel angry about this having been taken from me and the years of wondering and confusion about my sexuality.When i called my self bisexual in my head it felt right i immediately felt comfortable with it like i had found something that had been lost for so long. i believe that there has to be a way to restore my ability to feel attraction but i dont know how and im not really sure what my next step is
