Anyone who says what the referees would call based on individual players is more biased than I am, I only am biased against teams.

 

He came back to play after getting smacked in the face. That is pretty bad ass. Hockey is a tough sport.

 

Watching The Doors movie. It's an okay movie but I think Jim Morrison was mis represented. But if you look at it like a work of fiction then it's okay.

 

Today as I was working in the yard, I forgot (briefly) how old I am and was walking hard and fast...and suddenly I realize I'm UP in the air and falling...like I had enough time to think "its the sudden stop that really causes hurt"...so I made sure and didn't let my body just LAND. I rolled over 2 times before I came to a stop.

DANG!

If I had let or made myself just STOP, I think my knee would have been messed up. As it is, it is bruised with some rock bruises all across it. Of course this had to happen on a hard surfaced place - the paved driveway. gahhhhh

I didn't do much of anything after this. lol

Now I'm putting this arnica cream on it. I'll eventually find the ace bandage.

Lynn, it's funny how quickly you think of things in an instance. Like for you to even try and explain what you were thinking while falling, you think well that took 4 seconds to say so I call bullshit! But your mind processes so quickly like when I was gardening the other day we had a big green waste bin and I was jumping in it to squish the leaves down to make more room.

Laura was hedging and not looking and well of course, the bin was falling over with me inside and I only had maybe 2 seconds and yet I told myself "this will look good one of those stupid top 20 countdown shows" and "well I know I can't get my leg out of the bin so I have to fall down with it" and I was thinking all this while in that one second fall.

I got out of it okay lol. Falling out of trees and off rocks all my childhood and the damned horses, kinda know how to brace myself.

 

So after we got the dogs together we invited our new friends back to our house as we were close and we hadn't any water for the dogs so they all piled into the backyard and messed around more.

At the very beginning of the meet our boy and their boy had mouthing war which lasted maybe 2 seconds if that. I'm not sure who won, but they were friends after that really good the best we'd seen our boy with another GSD.

At our place our guy just wanted to have sex with both of them so I assume he asserted himself as alpha. He needs more sex practice. he just goes for air.

So all night and morning now he's been outside chasing scents.

 

I wondered about a rad turning dark myself...and now I understand even less.

One of my WORST pet peeves is people that don't respect other's property and/or boundaries. It gripes my ass deep down. grrrr

I know I'd have a Super Big Problem with people using my grassy land for a dang thing when they had their own land right there, and especially if I were to be able to do anything about it! Which I know you are able to do something about it, Ori!

That (people having no respect for land that isn't their's) has been my deciding point on the land my brother and I own - people trespassing and the amount of money it would take to STOP the trespassing doesn't or wouldn't outweigh what would be gained by selling. It really makes me sick too. But it is what it is.

Had one of the easiest small engine carburetor fixes of my life. All I had to replace was the dried out and cracked pump primer. It's like a little rubber turkey baster that you push 1 or 2 times to get fuel into the carb.

The bill for cannabis legalization was only tabled here in Canada last week and I'm already fucking tired of all the shit being stirred up around it.

The pro-cannabis people, especially those involved in selling cannabis, are all bitching and whining about how the new legislation is setting up for a new market that won't honour the original growers/sellers. Sorry, too fucking bad. If you work in an illegal area that's the risk you take. Go make a product that makes people WANT to buy it instead of trying to become the only legitimate cannabis producer by law. Or they're bitching about how it's taking too long, and 'Trudeau just legalize already 420 blaze it lol'. Well shit, man, laws take time.

Then you have all the anti-cannabis people jerking each other off about the 20% THC versus 1% THC in the 60's weed (which is total BS as we all know), the harm it's going to cause society when all these forklift drivers and doctors smoke a joint at night, the horrible smell that is going to be everywhere when people start smoking weed in their apartments. Like fuck you! Why do they all think that every single stoner will be high 100% of the time just because it's legal? And then if you can convince them that that isn't true, they just start spouting all the old bullshit rhetoric that they can dig up.


Isn't there ANYONE who can look at this bill and just say "Well it has some problems, but we have to start somewhere and work towards a perfect system"? Apparently not. I can't wait until it is legal just so I can stop hearing about this shit every day.
