It goes like this. Person is busted for weed, they are told if they go to a rehab program the charge will go away. So they go to a NA type group and say they have a problem never believing it. Then all the politicians get to say "look at the people in treatment for weed it's so dangerous". No, truth is very few people will ever voluntarily seek treatment for weed. But it all makes money for someone.

 

Exactly. It's all about money. Like you said, there are various groups making money from it. It's disgusting.

 

One thing that helps: voting.

There's a few elections this year, but next year there's a ton.
Get yourself and everyone you know to go out and vote.

Are they conservatives?
Find out why... then show them how Republicans are fucking them up the ass as hard as possible.
(But be nice about it.)
Then bring them to the polls with you, with no pressure to vote any particular way.

This year, Virginia and New Jersey have Governor elections.
Jersey is primed to go Blue after the shit-show that Chris Christie vomited all over the place.
I just hope NJ doesn't get Phil "Goldman Sachs" Murphy... that could cause a lot of people to stay home or vote 3rd party.
(Good choices in both Wisniewski and Johnson, but Johnson would be better.)

 

Nothing like scaring the shit out of the women you love with your car. It's good fun if you don't mind sleeping downstairs for a bit.

If you wanted to go back and check different posts in the chat threads, you would probably see that POLITICALLY DISCUSSING weed and it being legalized, and the stupidity and associated problems with it being not legal have been quite accepted in the chat threads by the vast majority of people here.

So...yeah - make sure and vote in your best interests to legalize weed.

2018 will be the opportunity to do a lot of that.

I won my first irace.

It was my 6th race altogether and after my first race the next 4 were pretty bad with me getting wrecked out in 3 of them and I spun myself going for the lead with 4 laps to go in the other race but in ever race, the way the draft worked in a street stock meant you really couldn't pull away so in my last race I just, waited in 3rd for the two leaders to eventually wreck each other, which happened on lap 4 and then I had a 1.4 second lead over 2nd. It stayed 1.4 until about lap 15 then I started inching away at .1 second a lap. Once I started getting away I knew I just needed to take it easy and bring my car home to victory, which is what I did.

Now I have a D class oval lisence which means I can now race the Truck series I believe.

But I'm going to try and level out of the road course lisence in the Mazda MX-5 series. I'm not too good on road course. So will be frustrating. =p

Felt good beating those Americans at their own game though. I know how to drive around a circle to ya redneck bastards.
