Hi, I know it as biointensive, but it is probably the same thing. Check out Ecology Action's books by Jeavons. The backyard homestead, The sustainable vegetable Garden, etc...
I don't know what scale you plan to farm, but these may help you. Also, we are starting a small community outside of Paradise , CA, and if you are in Napa, then you are only 2 1/2 hours away. My wifes family lives in St. Helena.
Anyway, check out our site and let me know if you are interseted in coming to our property to put your will to work. www.co-operativeeffort.com
We look forward to hearing from you---rabbit

i love the idea of biodynamic farming. i think that there are a couple of biodynamic farms (at least!) in this area, but i havent had a chance to visit them yet.

you've probably seen this site, right? http://www.biodynamics.com/ there are lists of registered biodynamic farms on there, with contact info. i bet that if you got in touch with someone who already has a biodynamic farm going near you that they'd love to chat with you too.
