well, for one thing, not everyone is affected by lsd. I knew a couple peers who were resistant to lsd's effects. likewise with binaural beats. this method isn't meant to give the visual side effects of acid (because that's all visuals are....side effects), but rather, the subtle perceptual enhancement that comes with a trip. binaural beat science is very well documented, but like drugs, it affects people differently. google: electroencephalography
same with meditation. saying meditation can get near a trip is pretty absurd as well. I've read people's responses that say meditation can approach a DMT experience, which is a real hoot.
okay last night I did the Nitrous one and tried to do the LSD one. I'm not sure if it was because it doesn't work for me, or what but this is what happened to me: I put the two doses on my ipod, went and laid in bed, turned off the lights and just realized and started the dose, not knowing what to expect. I kept my eyes closed and let the tones wash over me trying to detect anything that was different. I didn't really feel anything, until one point where I thought my head was spinning and I could make out faint shapes behind my eyelids. I'm not sure if it was just my head or what, but thats what it felt like for a second, but then it was gone just as quickly as it came. When it was over I stood up and walked around to see if my balance was off or anything felt distorted but I can't say that it did. I did have a smile on my face and felt like laughing but again, I think thats just because that was what I wanted to happen. It didn't feel like how they hyped it up in the .txt file so I'm led to believe that either I just am not able to feel it, or the whole thing is a scam to make some money. I layed back down and put on the LSD one, but unfortunately, I fell asleep about 2 minutes into it and didn't get a chance to tell if it was working. I didn't have any weird dreams or anything. Again, I'm not sure, but I'm going to try again tonight.
everyone i've ever talked to about these brain frequency drug simulations has always told me that the only thing they ever got from them was the uncontrollable urge to buy Kraft Brand Philadelphia Cream Cheese...
I think meditation can get you to DMT level if you are good at it. I have never personally done that, but I would say I can get to a level in meditation that is like a low dose of psilocybin. I see vividly patterns, figures, forms and get that sense of presence that you can commune with. Although one thing I thought alot about once was. At certain levels, the same level of meditation gotten to when sober is different than the same level gotten to by psychedellic means. Which led me to the notion of a 'mushroom samadhi' vs a 'human samadhi', which human samadhi would be where you go when you do it sober. The mushroom samadhi does seem to me to be just as valuable as the human samadhi though. So even if I did become highly proficient at tapping human samadhi, I would still visit mushrooms.
i don't know, but i downloaded it and i think its worth it, its nothing extreme, but it serisously made me laugh and smile while i was listening to the lsd one. i only listened for like 10 minutes, but while i was listening, i kinda concentrated on the screen and it was kinda funny, but yeah, its nothing compaired to a real acid trip. it kinda freaked me out at first, but i think it might be worth downloading if you haven't heard anything like that before, its funny i think, gives you the urge to laugh
the theory is, you hear two different frequencies, and your brain perceives a third (the difference between the two frequencies), and tries to mimic it with its own wave patterns. if you're distracted, of course it won't work. don't expect it to replace an acid experience (it won't, any more than meditation would), instead, it may emulate some of the elements of an lsd experience; but you have to focus...as already mentioned, it helps to meditate. here's a good generator prog http://gnaural.sourceforge.net/ some brainwave frequencies http://www.lunarsight.com/freq.htm binaural beat generators are similar in concept to chanting, drum circles, and gong meditation. they are meant to relax your mind and promote tranquility/wakeful states, creativity, and overall mental stasis. if you want to trip, call up your dealer and get some tabs.
Yes in DMT the spirit molecule (a book) it says you can release dmt through meditation and that this is what monks achieve. Also, according to the book and monks abstinance helps with the release. off of that note what do you think of LSD and these beats? I've tried them I thnk 2 years ago and they didnt do anything. They'd probably get annoying and music would help create a better trip than them what do you think?
those are purely theoretical. dmt isn't exactly released, it's metabolized. I've been refuting the "pineal gland theory" for about a year now, because there just isn't a metabolyzing enzyme in the brain, much less the pineal gland, to produce DMT. Not only that, DMT levels in the blood remain fairly constant throughout a 24 hour period, at a level 10,000 times lower than a blood concentration that's considered threshold psychedelic. What monks are actually doing is lowering brainwaves from normal awake states, beta and alpha waves, to theta, and even high delta. has nothing to do with DMT whatsoever. considering these EEG patterns, binaural beats are quite relevant...but once again, it helps to meditate.
