I would love to do it. I'd need a good bike, though. Maybe I'll join your massage camp and offer advice.
well there ya go! they have volunteer opportunities for a lot of things too, like fixing bikes, and helping with bike parking and setting up camps and stuff like that. here's the website.
nope. i was plopped on a bike once and told to pedal, while being shoved down a hill. i met with disastrous results against a large wooden fence at the bottom of a hill. thus, i do not know how to ride a bike, and i am rather frightened of it.
i never even had training wheels, i got my bike handed down when i was a wee tot and skinned my toes until i figured that shit out.
You had a bad experience...you need a good experience...bikes are truly magic. take it slow, on flat ground...you'll love the breeze.
awww.... how cute! sorry bout the skinned toes though... i bloodied up my face, and my crotch (it was a boys bike), and swore i'd never get on a bike again. my idiot dad yelled at me for crying.
I used to climb up onto shit in the garage to get on my bike because I was still too small to get on it flatground
awww, your poor face. i hope you kicked your dad in the 'nads... i fell back on hard cement when i was rollerblading once and blacked out. wore a helmet after that i'm sure you will do fine though, and like stalk said, the breeze in your hair and face is incredible
lol, i split my head open to the bone once when i smacked the back of my head on concrete and i had one of those ponytail things in my hair that look like giant bubblegum balls. i don't even remember what the fuck i was doing. i never kicked my dad in the 'nads, but i definitely have dreamed about mutilating him in horrible ways. i'm stronger for it i guess.
and you guys are right, i think i would enjoy riding a bike if i got the hang of it. i'll have tim teach me. he's a patient man.
i know. i think i had a concussion, and i'm pretty sure i blacked out, but i can't really remember, lol. i was (still am) very uncoordinated, and always got (still get sometimes) hurt because i wasn't paying enough attention and my limbs went all spastic. lol.
