That cat looks like what would have happened if my brother's cat ate my mom's cat (who disappeared...maybe that cat ate him). I yelled "Awwww!" when I saw the pictures, so I'm pretty sure I'd take in that fatty.

I used to have a 20lb cat. He wasn't that fat though. Just gigantic.

 

That cat weighs more than my kid!

My biggest cat is about 18lbs and he has lung problems because of his weight. He is currently on antibiotics because of it
