Maybe the sabotage of the system by Trump's hatchet man Louis DeJoy by removing mail collection boxes and automatic sorting machines.
Forbidding needed overtime, reducing hours of collection, and sending delivery trucks out half filled? Then informing 46 states that mail in votes might not be able to be counted in time...I wonder why?

The U.S. Postal Service removed mail collection boxes in at least four states and is eliminating automatic letter-sorting machines that speed delivery ahead of an expected surge of mail-in ballots in the Nov. 3 elections.

As the Postal Service began to dismantle its own process for speedy mail delivery, it sent a letter to 46 states warning that voters could be disenfranchised because their mail-in ballots may not be delivered in time to make vote deadlines, The Washington Post reported Friday.

DeJoy, who has no experience working in the USPS, is a prominent Trump donor and the former lead fundraiser for the Republican National Committee. He stands to profit from an implosion of the Postal Service. CNN reported earlier this week that DeJoy continues to hold a $30 million equity stake in his former company, XPO Logistics, a USPS contractor, which could conceivably partner with a competitor if the agency stumbles.

DeJoy also purchased Amazon stock options after he was appointed postmaster general, giving him the right to buy new shares of Amazon at a price much lower than their current market price, according to his financial disclosure filings.

Strange that during the height of the corona virus lockdown when everyone was home playing computer my internet speed was fast the whole time.

Now the ISPs put the slowdown back in effect, half the videos buffer again.

It’s cheaper to send parcels through private shipping companies, than it is to pay the taxes demanded to keep USPS afloat. Most of the money USPS makes in shipping is delivering junk mail nobody wants, which wastes paper and harms the environment

USPS is not essential. They didn’t even have a tracking number system until the private companies emerged

How to Get Back at Junk Mail Senders

What I like to do is to fill the pre paid junk mail envelopes with other junk mail and just send it back to them.

Its such an environmental insult the consept of junk mail. The trees the fuel wasted to make it all happen.
