What do you want us to see? He is obviously reading figures and points off cue cards, and stammering half the time
Ok, I do think this will happen. Biden will be replaced. There is an issue before the Supreme Court right now, that I think is to settle in June? Probably after this date due to covid19. A handful of rogue electoral votes could tip the next presidential election. The electoral college won’t have to vote for Who they promised to back. Everyone will be allowed to go rogue anD decide for themselves instead of voting as a block to back someone. Like those who went against Hilary Clinton and we’re fined for breaking from the one they pledged to support. Any thoughts on this? perhaps this should be a topic on its own in this section? Thinking it perhaps, should be?
While I think Biden is being set up for replacement, I'm still foggy about who it might be. I realize there's a LOT of talk about having a woman in the top seat, so the names are well known by now even if they don't have a chance. Warren, Gabbard, Klobuchar, Harris and even Williamson (snicker) are still basically available. Then there's the speculation that it's all a red carpet for Hillary or even Michelle Obama. But look how fast the democrats shoved the women out in the primaries. With that in mind, who are the men that might be selected? Buttigieg I'd think. I doubt Bernie is in on the plan, but he could easily jump back in of this happens. But the rest of the men who ran have faded into the woodwork. Democrats aren't even talking about them even though it's their most likely path if Biden has to vacate. I still think Gabbard is the only woman who would be able to humiliate Trump in a debate. The rest would meltdown the moment he made the slightest edge of a sexist remark. As a veteran, I guarantee you Gabbard has heard them all and shrugs them off with ease.
with regard to the topic & the issue of Biden dropping out, I read an article this morning that called into question the reliability of testimony from Tara Reade. If what the article said was true, she may have lied about her college history as it related to testifying as an expert witness in a domestic violence case not related to Joe Biden at all. If that's the case, it raises some questions about the reliability and credibility of her testimony in the current snafu.
That could work out well, Trump is bound to say something way off the mark that becomes front page news. Maybe pull a Romney with "binders of gays" (oh the imagery). So many ways it could be played. Trump bails out of New York. Bloomy kicks Trump's ass out of New York. Trump prefers to live in a state shaped like a dick. The headlines write themselves!
My only hope is that Mikey substituted his long campaign vacation for time spent in debate school getting private lessons.
Well, It doesn't have much to do with what Biden has to say. I hope he didn't do it, VG... That sounds rape-y. But, well... let me see if I can find the article. I think you might find it relevant because she maybe lied about her credentials (said she graduated from some school, I think it was Antioch, but the school says no she didn't, or something like that. i'll find it...) and reporters found it interesting that when she testified at some kind of domestic violence court appearance as an expert witness or in some official capacity, she mentioned her time with Biden and spoke of him as though nothing had ever happened between them (this in the context of telling of having worked in a place of high importance and prestige; e.g. "I worked for Senator Biden", showing that she thought highly of him despite what she alleges). Let me try and find it. EDIT: I can't find it because there are a lot of articles in media about her right now. I think I saw it on MSN, but I'm not certain... Here are three others though: Under oath, Biden accuser Tara Reade cited Biden’s work for women; defense attorneys now question her other testimony Lawyer drops Biden accuser Tara Reade as resumé questions lead to review of past expert testimony - CNNPolitics Tara Reade Is Dropped as Client by a Leading #MeToo Lawyer Here's the gist of the ABC News one:
Curiously though, The Donald retweeted a tweet that called Hillary a skank, strangely this time it didn't get too much attention
The problem with the party abandoning Biden and making him drop out, is that the clown car full of primary contenders all endorsed Biden in the end. Knowing full well he had several screws loose with his speech and debate performances. So what are they going to do now? One solution is Sanders, since he had the 2nd most delegates of anyone. Seems viable. But I don’t know enough or care enough to find out if there are any official set of rules of what happens when a party’s nominee has to exit the race for any reason.
I actually hope he runs. There's no way any republican can lose. I'm independent but I cannot stand Biden. In my opinion he's incompetent.
Well, trump is competent. Competent at being a no good, crooked , lying, narcissistic, authoritarian , illiterate son of a bitch!!
But I DO wish someone else would represent the democrats. Maybe the California governor, or some other liberal person. But the main thing ,as I see it, is to vote against ALL REPUBLICANS.
I feel sorry for him, they need to keep him away from cameras. Even other democrats are laughing at his blunders. All said he has used his position to help family business. So maybe not too incompetent. How tax paying citizens put up with this who knows.
