The first book got bad reviews from the Times, he decided to go for a sequel and a screenplay that New Line Cinema was very interested in until they went bankrupt.

Personally I prefer Jason and the Argonaughts...

Once again, what in the world are you talking about? You've been conferring with your "spirit" again, haven't you?

The word "person" does not have to refer to a human being but can just refer to someone who has a personality and God definitely has a personality.

You have shown no such thing. You speak your interpretation.
By definition it is a prescription.
Doesn't say "make", says that man may be, allows, is beneficial.

Haven't been paying attention and missed it, oh well maybe some one else will ask about it and you'll see it and again. ;)

Nope, seeing as I'm not a Doctor I can't make prescriptions, so as I said, it's just a friendly suggestion. :D

Yep, the Bible just stands out of the way and "allows" the man of God, to be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work. Yeah right.

if the massiah had already been why didn't he fulfill the prophecies?
There are also a lot of mistranslations in the bible referring to Jesus.
So, nope I don't believe in the NT.

I think the statement speaks for it's self. The "perhaps" says that there may not be any here that are purposely twisting the truth and thus there would no exceptions. ;)

Because they are yet to be fulfilled by Jesus, God isn't done fixing things yet.
I've heard that but none that seems credible to me. ;)

That is because comprehension is not one of your finer suits.

the mistranslations over the virgin birth and crucifixion are very good indicators though. And they make sense.

It's not my comprehension that's in question here but yours. So let's check out your comprehension.
    Nope, not me.
    Nope, not me.
    Nope, not me.

    Nope, doesn't apply

    Nope, not me.
    Nope, not me.
    Doesn't apply.

I'm neither a physician or an authority and I'm not ordering you to do anything thing, so none of this applies to me. So it seems that it's your comprehension that's in question here.

well for starters, the changing of mary being a 'young woman' to a being a 'virgin'. This wrong translation has given a basis to Christianity. And if the basis is wrong .....

That's how some people treat it. For some reason, it is believed that all the answers are in there. If the bible truly had the answers, you folks wouldn't have spent the past 60 pages of this thread defending it and quoting a bunch of scripture.

Many teachers of the Koran prey on the illiteracy of their followers to brainwash them into hating and killing in the name of god, when the Koran is actually quite the opposite. Interpretation is just that. It's one man's pulpit against another's. Opinion vs opinion.

That guy wrote that book about the fatkins diet, and all the sheeple jumped on that wagon, but then the guy dies of a heartattack. It may not be the greatest analogy, but I put my trust in knowledge. Not the self published ramblings of control freaks.
